The Host and Property were both excellent. The property was well maintained and very nicely decorated. It was also very central to all of our activities during our stay visiting both Asheville and Hendersonville.
My family had a lovely time at the cabin. The decor is so cozy and inviting. There is a screened-in porch right off the living room as well as a nice-sized deck, which we enjoyed. The cabin is relatively close to Ashville and the Biltmore which is what we were looking for. If a guest is looking to spend some time on the water there is a large pond on the property. The owner provides canoes. There are 3 adorable goats, chickens, and ducks that we spend some time with before exploring the area. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.
We had a wonderful week long stay at The Cottage. It was perfect for two couples. We loved the porch and ate almost every meal out at the table. The fire pit and wildlife were added bonuses (deer, turkeys, owls, birds, and of course the goats, chickens, and ducks). The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the area, close to things we wanted to see and do. (The Biltmore was only about 15 minutes away, with traffic). We will definitely go back to stay!
We decided on a long weekend trip to the Asheville area and found this charming cottage in the woods on a small lake. The owners are quite gracious and greeted us on our arrival, told us all about the 20 acres property, then allowed us to enjoy ourselves yet be on call should we need anything. The cottage is lovelyly, clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again, but longer than a long weekend.
Wonderful little cottage for a much needed getaway. There is some noise from the airport from incoming flights but it wasn't horrible. The owners are great and very accommodating.
Great cabin.
We loved our stay here at the lake. We were able to catch many fish and using the canoe and paddle boat was fun. The owners are very friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We had fun visiting the goats, rabbits and ducks as well.
Our stay was great. Although we received a lot of rain during our stay the property was very peaceful and relaxing. Hosts were very accommodating and kind. This will be my first choice to stay wherever I return to the area.
Very easy commute to hiking, dining, movies, shopping, Biltmore estate yet the property is a pocket of tranquility to recharge the batteries and enjoy the serenade of nature from the screened in porch day bed or high top bar table on covered porch. 2nd stay for us and we'd love to do it again.
We had a wonderful time at Coma Lake!
We came down to visit family in Asheville. The cabin was perfect for our family of four. Our boys stayed upstairs and had their own shower. Rumi was very communicative and accommodating. It's a charming location and cabin. The planes do fly low. We knew what to expect based on previous reviews so we were okay.
We had a wonderful stay at this home. Very clean and accommodating! We spent most of our time out sightseeing around Asheville and the Biltmore estate. And then we enjoyed the comforts of home each night along with coffee on the front porch each morning.
We truly enjoyed this little piece of paradise!
We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. It was cozy and comfortable, nice furnishings, and very relaxing. We hiked and visited Biltmore during the day and relaxed at night.
A lovely, comfortable cottage on a gorgeous property. Easy walks around the lake. It felt like a remote country stay when in reality, it is close to the city. We enjoyed our stay!
We found the rental to be beautiful and well equipped in a beautiful and private location. The hospitality of the owners was exceptional.
From beginning to end our experience at Coma Lake was perfection! Communication with the owners was amazing and reassuring. We were blown away by the beauty of the lake, the surroundings, and the house. The photos do this place no justice. It was clean and had everything we needed and more. I had read about the airplanes flying over and went into the vacation prepared. It may have been shocking had we not known but it was actually pretty cool! We spent time out on the lake kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The location to everything is ideal and very easy to navigate. We will definitely be back!
This house was as advertised. Everything was nice and it is very close to everything you would want to do in the area. Located near the airport, it is equidistant to fly fishing in Brevard or heading up to the Biltmore or down town Asheville for a day trip. The airplanes flew over a lot, but I didn't notice them much when I was inside the cabin.
Beautiful scenery. Some airport traffic but did not take away from the beauty and tranquility of the location. Would definitely stay here again
There was a great deck to sat at and look at the lake and wild life. So relaxing and beautiful.
My husband and I spent the long Fourth of July weekend here, from Friday until Tuesday. We enjoyed fishing in the lake and I especially enjoyed such easy access to the paddle boats and canoes. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the whole place is very uniquely decorated! Yes, there are airplanes that approach rather low and loud from time to time, but that was not bothersome to us. The grocery store was very convenient and was a better grocery than we have here at home in Nashville. We enjoyed some time in downtown Asheville as well, and it’s an easy journey to pop up there. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends who are looking for a mountain getaway.
We had a great time. Everything was excellent
Wonderful enviroment,especially with owner
We had a great stay here! Everything was clean, easy to use, beautiful view and fairly convenient location to Asheville and Biltmore. Would definitely recommend!
