Detached, sea front, right on Woolacombe's renowned Esplanade enjoying views over the beach and across the sea at Combesgate, what more could you want ! This quirky seaside holiday home has ample parking and takes dogs. Here are a choice of two different entrances, either straight into the hallway or into a covered area between the garage and the cottage which is great when returning from a muddy dog walk or with sandy feet after a surf or day on the beach just paces away. The covered area houses the freezer and drinks fridge and a back door leads to an outside tap and steps up to a small terrace.‍I love this place; it has views from almost every room and just seems to tick every box. It is decorated throughout in a contemporary way with a bright white back drop with an occasional splash of colour carefully introduced in tasteful carefully chosen furnishings. The super aubergine leather sofa suite sets the colour theme in the main living room with matching leather armchairs. The patio doors face the exceptional view across to the sea. This room has an electric flame effect stove in the fireplace, a wall mounted large flat screen Smart TV, and coffee table. There is free Wi-Fi. Off this room is the utility room with wet room style shower, ideal for rinsing off the dogs or sandy feet. With washing machine and separate tumble dryer, a sink, work surfaces and storage, this room is a real bonus to any holiday home. The bright kitchen is fresh with white units and walls in a soft mid blue and the white gloss slab kitchen units housing full size dishwasher, two fridges, oven, hob and extractor. There is a microwave and plenty of worktop and storage. In the bay window overlooking the front terrace and the sea is a gloss white round table and 6 chairs.‍Downstairs there is a double bedroom with clothes storage, hanging rail and en-suite shower room. This room is at the back of the house with no sea view but a window to the rear. In the hall is a door to a cloakroom with WC, sink unit and coats hooks. From the hall stairs rise to the first floor with two bedrooms, both en-suite.‍The landing area has a large apex window with patio doors to a balcony and has a small additional overflow wardrobe, 2 armchairs to sit and watch for dolphins, sea birds and just gaze at the ever-changing sea and surf just over the road, magical! The master bedroom has a king size bed, and clothes rail, a chest of drawers, a huge full 4 piece en-suite with a free standing bath, shower, WC, and sink unit. Fitted flooring. The apex roof part of the master bedroom has patio doors to another balcony overlooking the sea! The twin room is a good size with twin divan beds, hanging rail, chest of drawers and bedside units with lamps. The en-suite has bath with shower attachment, sink with vanity unit and WC. 1 - 2 small/medium dogs are accepted at £20 per dog per holiday (please check with us re size of dogs before booking). Plenty of parking for several cars and a small garden at the front overlooking the sea with room to BBQ. The enclosed gated terrace at the front of the house is ideal if you are bringing your faithful friend or young children as the sloped driveway to the house is shared with the house next door and is not gated. Outdoor table and chairs and two loungers. A £200 security deposit is held and released after the holiday. Electric car charging point , please enquire as extra payable.All in all this super seafront holiday home should bring a smile to anyone's face as it represents everything you could want from a holiday home in the UK.

    The cottage was perfect for us as all we wanted to do was swim, board and walk. We loved the beach across the road and only went to the main beach once. Cottage was so well equipped and comfortable and the view is stunning. We loved it so much we booked for next year on our 2nd day there. We'd like to keep it a secret to be honest :D

    We had two wonderful weeks in this lovely, well equipped house, very near two beaches and just round the corner from the main beach, and about five/ten minutes walk from the village. Even better presented than last year, with easier locks on some of the doors. Plenty of bathrooms for when everyone comes out of the sea. Plenty of space. Wonderful views at both high and low tide. Plenty of parking, crucial for Woolacombe. A lovely spot.

    Combe Cottage has it all. Its beach facing location offers breathtaking views as well as the most beautiful sunsets. The house is very spacious, extremely comfortable & well equipped. The seaside location is minutes from the beach, shops, pubs & cafes. This property is our absolute favourite holiday home & we have already booked for next year! We have just enjoyed a fab 2 weeks there with plenty of sun, you literally could be anywhere in the world. Combe Cottage….. we will see you next year!!!!!

    This is our 2nd visit to this property and is still our favourite in Woolacombe. The views are outstanding, and available in most areas of the house, from the front patio area, to the fabulous landing with balcony. We love that it’s so close to walk to 2 beaches, and quick 10 minutes down to the main beach and town. It was spotlessly clean, and well maintained, with a very well equipped kitchen. This house is perfect for family holidays, with extras such as a utility area with its own access should you bring the dog, we found very useful. In all, this is a perfect holiday home!

    We love Combe Cottage. It is spacious with lovely sea views especially from the balconies. There are three beaches within easy walking distance. Over the road there is beautiful Combesgate with rock formations and rock pools (sturdy steps down with a handrail), next Barricane which is sheltered and then further round Woolacombe beach which has miles of golden sand backed by Downs. There are walks straight from the door and a short walk takes you into Woolacombe itself passing the Tourist Information Shop where there are walking maps etc. We are four generations and one small dog and we keep returning as it suits us all. We have already booked for next year! The Robinsons, North Yorkshire

    Combe Cottage has excellent facilities and fittings, and is always presented very well. Located opposite Combesgate beach, the outlook is fabulous. Holiday Home Hunter have a gem of a rental here.

    A lovely comfortable cottage, with glorious views, and lovely sunsets. A short walk to the beach, and to town. A real home from home, we have been coming here for years.

    We had a lovely week at Combe Cottage. Brilliantly placed for dog walks straight from the door. Lovely cottage, well maintained, comfortable, all facilities that you need. Enclosed terrace for doggies. However no grassy garden for them to run freely although there is a grass area to sit in at the front of the property where ours needed to be on lead. We didn’t find that a problem as there is a footpath up to Donkey Trail close by. HHH were as helpful as usual with advising on booking etc Cannot rate Maddy and Sarah highly enough. And the house keeper even called us to advise us that the cleaners had finished and we could enter the property early on our first day, First class service! Already booking for next year.

    Once again we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Combe Cottage. It suits our two family’s needs very well. The location is amazing, with stunning views. We had beautiful weather for October & enjoyed sitting in the garden watching the sunsets. The house is excellent as far as number of rooms & space for 2 families with a great area for wetsuits which is a real plus. The house has all the amenities & equipment provided that we could need.The kitchen is well equipped & the lounge is perfect for everyone to relax after a day on the beach or walking the many costal walks around Woolacombe. The only things that let it down are the 5pm check in. We appreciate the reasons stated but maybe a text message from the cleaning company if the house is available earlier in the day would be more helpful to guests especially after a long travel time. Also, the downstairs bedroom compared to the other rooms feels cold & less cosy. Upstairs & downstairs feel a bit like 2 different places. We are looking forward to returning to Combe Cottage next year.

    Lovely house in a stunning location. Situated right opposite Combesgate Beach (via a lot of steps) and very near Barricane Beach, very convenient for both. The main huge lifeguarded (not in winter) beach is round the corner, and not as far as we thought for carrying surfboards. The sea views from the house are amazing, especially from the landing, and we also sat out watching the shooting stars and saw the northern lights (not guaranteed!). 5-10 minutes walk from the village shops. Crucially for Woolacombe, the parking is very easy and there is room for at least two large cars, more if necessary. Although you may well not need to use a car once there, unless you want a trip out. The covered side area is good for storing boards, and the utility room is a real bonus - space to hang damp things and the indoor wash off shower is very useful for getting the salt/sand off after surfing/swimming. 4 loos and three bathrooms meant there was no shivering waiting to shower after swimming. There was plenty of space for a family of 6, The house is well appointed with probably everything you would need. Lovely outside space on the patio area and garden, and the beautiful views from inside if not so warm. We have already booked for next year. I also recommend booking through Holiday Home Hunter - we have been booking through them for several years, and never had a ‘bad’ house/flat.

    A great cottage for all ages. We are four generations and a small dog and have had another amazing holiday here at Combe Cottage. The accommodation is excellent and there is parking for three cars. The views are beautiful and there are three super beaches and lovely walks right on the doorstep. It is only a short walk into Woolacombe itself. We have stayed several times before and will be back next year. This is our favourite holiday cottage. Note there are steps down to Combesgate beach and some dog restrictions apply.
