Amagansett, New York
This clean, bright, and airy beach House overlooking Napaegue harbor has everything you need. It is just a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Hamptons. It is also just a short walk to a large protected harbor that is known for perhaps the best kite surfing in the Northeast. Artists have been coming to this area for years because of the spectacular lighting. The sunsets off the large back deck are amazing and change every night.
The house is set up with 2 master suites; Upstairs you have a queen bed with its own bath and sliders that lead to an outdoor sitting area. Downstairs you have a King bed with it's own bath and a separate entrance. There is also a small bedroom downstairs that has a single twin bed or can be set up for a child's crib.
The house was a featured property in the NY POST Travel sec. 6/23/09 and has all the best of everything; HDTV, WIFI, Central A/C, Mitchell gold sofas, fine linens and glassware. NO PETS ALLOWED.
We had a great time pulling our 4 year old over to the ocean beach in the red wagon, grilling and watching the beautiful sunsets and watching the birds fly overhead. wonderful spot!
My friend and her daughter and my son and I had a lovely 3-day stay at this clean, cheerful house in a great location. The house was ideally situated a few blocks from pristine beach and a short car drive from a nature sanctuary. It was easy to get to, easy to get into, and very comfortable. Because we were early in the season, things that other guests might leave behind weren't there (like olive oil, spices, etc.), so stop by the nearby grocery on the way if you are planning on cooking.
Charming cottage in a great location! Seamless checkin and great stay.
Had a great time all around!
I loved my stay here so much. Beautiful home, best location, and amazing views every evening. The host was very nice and accommodating and I can’t recommend this spot enough!
It is a nice house, but could use some sprucing up inside. The highway on which the house is located turned out to be much busier and noisier than we expected, and made it challenging to turn in and out of the driveway.
Nestled between Napeague Beach (Ocean) and Napeague Bay, a renter couldn't find a more delicious spot.
Very nice place very happy xx
An excellent stay at this beautiful cottage. We look forward to returning in the summer
We stayed here for a 4-day weekend to attend a wedding in Montauk at nearby Gurneys resort. The house is just off Montauk highway, but in a very quite/secluded stretch, so it was quiet. It’s a short (4-5 min) car ride from Gurneys and taking Ubers there and back were very cheap ($10). The house was clean and beds were very comfortable (including the two single bed & sofa bed). The porch is nice to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings, and there is even a picnic table out near the front (but we never used it as it was closer to Montauk Highway and we had kids with us who we didn’t want wandering near there). Our host (Jane) was available 24/7 to answer all our questions including one time late at night when we’d accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and she was able to walk us through getting back in. She was also super-flexible with early checkin and late checkout, which just added an extra level of comfort and peace of mind through our arrival & departure. The only downer was that the LIRR runs occasionally F past the back of house, so it felt a bit odd enjoying a glass of wine on the porch while a train zipped by. At night the trains were a surprisingly quiet indoors that none of us were bothered by it. Overall, I would definitely come back here for future Montauk weekends. Thanks Jane!!
