Such a great little beach cottage. This property is impeccably maintained and nicely decorated. My friend and I booked this months in advance and we we’re not disappointed in the least. The property manager, Gio, was available at a moments notice. He was friendly, helpful and anticipated our every need. There was fresh coffee in the canister and chilled water in the fridge. The fully equipped kitchen was ready for cooking. Plenty of places to sit and eat. We loved the high top eating bar area. We sat in the front vestibule in the morning to drink our coffee. There are TV trays available to use anywhere in the house. We utilized every available space and enjoyed the local Main Street. Plenty of food and drink options available around town. My friend is Vegan and we had no problem finding options we could both enjoy. Gio gave us many ideas for activities around the area. St. Petersburg is only a 7 mile Uber ride away. We walked all over that area and enjoyed a drink at the rooftop restaurant at the end of the pier. Overall a fabulous place to stay for a quiet getaway. I will definitely stay here again sometime soon.
It’s cute and nostalgic to take a walk down memory lane when someplace you visit stirs up old memories. My college apartment in Tallahassee in 1967 was likely built in the ‘40s like this house. The old style door knobs, wood floors, hallway with lots of doors, small bathroom… I loved it! Of course the modern kitchen, central A/C, great mattress, snacks/water were welcomed additions in the “present” and loved the stucco finish on the walls. This location was quiet but very near the restaurants and watering holes in Gulfport. We had a nice walk to breakfast at Stella’s. Gulfport is a cute town and Gio made it easy to enjoy his property. He is an experienced host and good communicator. The parking under the carport made unloading/loading the car a breeze. It was the perfect size property for two active grandparents (and with me still working the desk was perfect)! Thanks Gio!
