Boardwalk hosted by St James Vacation Homes
Nestled within an exclusive gated community known for its award-winning golf courses and luxurious lifestyle, Boardwalk welcomes guests to take advantage of its premium waterside location, commanding views, and cozy interior. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath condo is situated in the heart of Marina Cove and is the perfect retreat for individuals, couples, or families/groups.
The main floor's open concept seamlessly connects the kitchen with the dining and living area. The kitchen is generously equipped with hardwood floors, granite countertops, dishwasher, stovetop oven, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig, cookware, and dish ware – perfect for a night in! Guests can easily move from meal prep to the dining area for a family dinner or an evening of boardgames.
The living area is furnished with a comfortable sofa, oversized armchair with ottoman, side chair, wood-burning fireplace, and flatscreen TV. Plenty of natural sunlight streams in from the screened deck that boasts elevated views of the marina and waterway that are just steps from the back of the property. The outdoor dining set provides an opportunity for meals that bring fresh air in while keeping bugs out. For a serene ending to the day, sit back in the rocking chair and watch the sun descend. In warm months, this “room” of the house is a gathering spot to watch all kinds of watercraft arrive and depart the marina. You might even spot the Spirit of Oconee docked in one of the slips. Reserved for group tours, it's a 39-foot double-decker houseboat! For a more immediate and affordable waterfront activity, there is a pedestrian walkway that follows the shoreline and entices residents, guests, and their four-legged family members to enjoy a stroll.
Also on the main level are two bedrooms. The spacious master suite provides stunning lake views and is furnished with a king bed, dresser, TV, and walk-in closet. The recently renovated en suite bath includes a granite countertop, tiled step-in glass shower and jacuzzi tub. Next door is a guest bedroom with equally breathtaking views and a comfortable queen bed, dresser, flatscreen TV, and linen storage. Just down the hall are a full bath and a laundry closet with a full-size washer and dryer.
Upstairs is an open loft with an aerial view of the downstairs living and dining areas. Perfect for kids or teens, it offers a sitting area with two armchairs, flatscreen TV, two twin beds, and an en suite full bath. Younger members of the family will love having their own space!
With Boardwalk's prime location guests may not have much reason to leave, but for those who want to explore the community, there is plenty to offer! The gem of Lake Oconee is, quite literally, at your backdoor with 19,000 acres of water to explore by boat, ski, kayak, or canoe. If you're feeling a little water-logged, 21 miles of hiking and biking trails wind throughout Reynolds. For less strenuous entertainment, there are 10 on-site restaurants among the Reynolds properties, each one meticulously designed to accommodate a variety of palates. Be sure to check about guest access during Covid, as some venues may be restricted to members or residents.
Just outside the gates are plenty of restaurants and retail shops. Right off Linger Longer Road, stock up at Publix, try one of the blends from PJ's Coffee of New Orleans, or peruse the charming home accents at The French Hare. South on Highway 44, Harmony Crossing is home to some of our favorites, including LaLore Café and 44 Marketplace. We also recommend visiting the quaint historic districts of Eatonton and Greensboro for unique shopping and dining experiences. Be sure to check out the local events, festivals, and farmer's markets, too!
We really enjoyed being so close to the Marina and boardwalk on the lake. Great for morning strolls!
The home is in a great location with marina and dock access. Unfortunately the home was a little dated and not clean to our standards. The kitchen was bare of necessities and the bathrooms were not stocked with paper products.
We enjoyed being on the water. The proximity to the docks and marina was nice. The downside was that there were no grills. The kitchen could have larger and more coffee mugs available. The TV is on the small side for the living room. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.
Do not stay at this property/ management company. They falsely advertise that you have a “plethora of amenities” But unless you are a member of Reynolds plantation you are not allowed to use any of the amenities as a guest. We were not told this before our visit. So all of the restaurants on the property are off-limits to guest who are renting the properties. The whole reason of staying at Reynolds plantation was to be able to use the amenities and eat at the restaurants on the property. We had to leave the property to eat unless we cooked at the home. We contacted the property management company and they offered no reimbursement or substitutions. Extremely frustrated with our visit to say the least. The house was clean and was in a great location. I just wished we were informed before hand!
Three of us couple stayed at this property for a wedding. We walked in and felt like we walked straight into the 70s. The furniture is outdated, the wallpaper is peeling, the paint needs a refresh- the showers need to be updated. We kept going to spend time at another friends cottage because we didn’t want to be in ours longer than we had to. The owners should spend some of this money and renovate or refresh the interior. The property manager was sweet and easy to communicate with! The location is amazing also.
This was a wonderful property clean,With a more spectacular view of the lake
We were so pleased with our stay at this property. The location over exceeded our expectations and the communication with the property managers was wonderful. They went above and beyond to help decorate the place for my husbands birthday and also helped me coordinate a delivery for my husbands gift. I’m so happy and we can’t wait to come back! Thank you Amy and Kathy!!!!
Unit is very outdated, rugs, wallpaper, beds, kitchen, etc. Fridge stopped working during our stay and just when we were ready to leave started getting cool again. Also to note lampshade ripped, very little kitchen pans, pots, utensils, TV's date back to 1997 (slow), fan on porch not working, marina close makes early morning noise, appears unit has had not improvements since late 90's.
Communications and follow up was excellent throughout the trip! Great work!!
Great spot with a beautiful view from the porch. Very friendly and highly recommend.
