Amazing Ocean Front Cottage on the Crystal Coast

My son and I had a wonderful visit! Just the beach vacation we needed. The house was very comfortable and just right for us. Thanks so much!

What a wonderful week we had at Joyce's stunning beach cottage! The view is absolutely breathtaking and the sand dunes made it feel extra secluded. The cottage itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is centrally located to many cute towns and activities. Make sure to check out the wild horses at Shackleford banks and stop by Cap'n Willie's for delicious seafood and key lime pie! We can't wait to return to our new favorite spot.

We have been staying in Emerald aisle for nine years and this was by far the best house! The master suite was incredible and we loved how the beds were made and adorned with decorative pillows. We loved the privacy on the deck and the amazing access to the beach. Be right there just steps away from the ocean.

The easy walk to the beach from the back of the house was wonderful. The dog enjoyed the house and beach immensely as did the three humans that stayed there. Can't wait to go back.

So close to the beach, private and overall great stay.

We had everything we could need on property. Plenty of fresh towels, two different coffee machines for whichever you prefer.Check in was easy, I let Joyce know when our arrival time would be and she immediately responded on how to get into the property. Everything was perfect and we look forward to staying again next year!

It’s a lovely cottage with a great deck area for enjoying the ocean view. All amenities were provided and our family had a wonderful vacation.

Nice property in the middle of the island. 7mi to one end and about 8 mi to the other. Beach couldnt be closer just steps from the deck. Everything clean and well equipped. Living space a bit smaller than it seemed in pics and indoor furniture was a bit uncomfortable but we werent there to spend time indoors. Excellent property. If bringing dogs then bring child gates for blocking them to get off deck (we did as we always expect to need them at any property we stay with a dog). There were a couple avaialable but our doug could jump over the ones there. The management company was great with communicating when needed. Its a great spot. Beds are on lifts (i assume to keep dogs off them) so if you are on the shorter side then a stool would be a good idea.I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice clean stay on the beach.

Everything needs work. It appears that the property is a cash cow and not much goes back into it for upgrades.Location and access to beach is good.

Tiny but cute, 3 bedrooms were plenty for us and our 3 kids. Sooo close to the beach, it was fantastic. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for a great week at Emerald Isle. The deck was great, and we enjoyed eating outdoors a couple times. I recommend visitors bring their own toilet paper and paper towels unless you like the super thin stuff. We really enjoyed trips to the aquarium and fort macon. Did not like the fish hut grill, but enjoyed Gaffers, Trading Post, and especially enjoyed Crab Claw at Atlantic Beach. We would stay here again for sure.

Location was perfect and house was setup just the way we needed it.

This house was ideally located right on the beach with a great deck and fabulous deck chairs that were high enough to watch the dolphins and the sea birds!! The walk to the ocean was easy and the house was well equipped. Plenty of towels and amenities made the stay enjoyable. Joyce, the hostess, was great !!! We would stay here again !!!

Need more than 1 key when you have additional adults. Issue with the fire alarms. Front door made us feel uneasy as anybody could break in

I have gone to EI all my life and have stayed in a wide variety of houses. Sea Turtle cottage was great, but also a little small for my crowd. The beds were super comfortable except one. The shower head outside broke, but was replaced immediately. There is not a lot of storage in the kitchen, but we had plenty of plates, pots, etc to cook our meals. This place was very clean and nice. It is a bargain compared to other houses.

Second stay at this lovely beach cottage. Gorgeous views, well appointed and comfortable house.

Easy walk across dunes to the beach, as it is very close. The place is nice and as advertised. The only things we disliked were the high beds (why?) and one sofa in the front seriously needs to be replaced. Otherwise a nice, thrifty place.
