After Dune Delight: Your Serene Sanctuary!

⸻This was our second stay at After Dune. The first time, we overlooked the uncleanliness and mouse droppings, but this time we were very disappointed. The hot tub was not working — we understand things can break, but we were only notified three days before our stay and it was never repaired. On the second day, we woke up to find there was no gas, meaning no stove or hot water. While the renter responded quickly, service wasn’t restored until about 3:30 pm, which significantly impacted our day. The location and overall setting are nice, but unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Unfortunately I cannot give anything but an okay review. To start off, I received notification of the hot tub not working the night before our checkin. My response back to Paul of course unsatisfactory and he in turn did not respond knowing of our dissatisfaction. He said he would try to have it fixed during our stay and there was no attempt at all. I later found out that it has been broken for quite some time but he only told me the night before. I also did not like that towels and sheets were not supplied which makes it very difficult when traveling by air. I also had asked if toiletries were included that he responded to say no and when we arrived there was tons of stuff there after I had went and shopped. I also did not like that the previous renters garbage was so full in the bin that there was no room for garbage and the flies were so bad from it sitting in the sun. The air conditioning in the house was not accommodating for all levels. Top floor extremely hot and the basement extremely cold! And finally the basement flooded after heavy rain which made it difficult to do laundry. Unfortunately wont be returning.

Our family of 5 and another family of 3 shared this property for a week. It exceeded our expectations! Beautiful, large open-concept home with 5 bedrooms and a private backyard/patio. Very clean, modern, and well-maintained. Amazing location next to the Grand Bend strip/beach! Will definitely stay again!

Every thing was great except could not get wifi

Overall the property was lovely, it was big enough to accommodate our large family and had everything we would need for our stay apart from towels and sheets.The layout of the place was great, with rooms on all floors. They supplied toilet paper, paper towels, pots, pans even shampoo, conditioner and laundry detergent.Parking wasn’t an issue for us we were able to fit all our cars nicely in front of property.The issues we had upon arrival was that it was lacking cleanliness in some rooms. The bathroom in the basement was dirty and had a lot of dried urine stains on toilet seat and the bedroom in the basement had spiders and webs making it uncomfortable to sleep in.Our television and internet didn’t work the first night and after trouble shooting the owner sent someone to come fix it the following day. There was also a snow storm the day of arrival and needed to shovel the driveway ourselves.We are all capable of cleaning the bathrooms and shovelling the snow but it’s not something to expect to do when renting a property.

Loved the location, quick walk everywhere you want to be. House was just as described and was perfect for our group. Check in was a breeze. Would book again.

The property was clean and spacious. Close walk to the beach.

Property was immaculate, newly renovated, location is near main strip and beach. Unfortunately, there is no parking for the amount guests this cottage can accommodate.

Great location to the beach. Was not happy that the hot tub only had one temperature (boiling hot) so we couldn’t use. The cottage was nice. I’d suggest providing bath mats for each bathroom and at least 1 hand towel, dish towel. Our bed was not great, but the kids liked theirs. Glad for the air conditioning, living room area and the great location.

This was a fantastic stay for our family! The house was well laid out and equipped with everything we needed. The laundry access was particularly helpful. The host provided all the needed basics which made life much easier. The location was ideal - a super easy walk to the strip or beach. We’d book this property again without hesitation!!

The property was very nice and clean when we came. The ambience outside with the fire pit was great. Very close walk to the beach and main strip.
