Stayed Jul 12, 2025The Whimsical Whale was a delightful place to stay and very close to the beach. The name is perfect as the entire cottage has whimsical decorations! The beds and couches were super comfy and the appliances were the nicest I have ever seen in a rental home. We would rent it again in a heartbeat! Me, my husband, and our fur baby can’t wait to return!

Stayed Jun 22, 2024Believe the pictures, descriptions and all the other reviews. This is one of the very best vacation rentals I have stayed at - Angela thinks of everything to keep her guests comfy. Even though the cottage would be lovely if you bring a dog, we didn't and you could not tell at all that doggies had been there - so no concern about it being pet friendly. One of the highlights we enjoyed the most was the lovely furnished deck under the oak trees - you could feel the ocean breezes!! Just a perfect welcoming cottage in a great location.

Stayed Mar 14, 2024Great place, super cute, and so close to the beach as well as grocery store and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Appreciated the fenced-in yard so my dog could hang out with us outside.

Stayed Dec 26, 2023This was our second time in 2023 we stayed at the cottage. Owner is super easy to work with and most of all it is always so clean. Fenced in back yard is perfect for our two golden retrievers- and you can hear and see the ocean from the yard. Hope to return again in 2024.
