Lovely Property, superb gardensHad all we needed for a relaxing stay with our 2 puppies

Hosts were great, problems with the TV.which they fixed . Very hard towels.Empty containers of body was , dishwasing liquid .Heater was efficient. Very comfortable bed.

Easy check in , great location

On arrival only one key of the 5 worked to enter the property. It was very disappointing to find the fridge not turned on and multiple issues with cleanliness including the cleaning cloth in the kitchen having food on it, the stove covered in crumbs, the toilet paper was dirty and there were also a number of dead bees in the lounge room. The water was not drinkable (could be a Port Fairy thing more than a house issue though) and even our poor dog couldnt toilet in the backyard as the grass was so long. We were supposed to stay three nights but went home after one and would personally not recommend this property.

Fireplace was excellent , just enough wood to last us. I would recommend that toiletries be supplied for shower.

Loved our stay here. Warm & cosy during some wild winter weather - wood fire was much appreciated! Lovely garden and deck at the back, close to town and located in a quiet area. Communication with owner was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Met our needs

The cottage was very clean and well laid out and very close to the all amenities. The property manager was easy to contact. resulting in a very Pleasant stay.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay the cottage was lovely and enjoyable everything was close by .My husband and I enjoyed the cottage it was charming and close to Port Fairy overall it was a great place to stay.

We were lucky enough to be able to stay here for the Port Fairy Folk Festival. It was a great location - 10 to 15 minutes walk to all the Festival venues. And a comfortable home to come back to after our musical adventures.

1 Property accepted our cocker spaniels who adored Pea Soup dog beach.2 Adeline is in a great location relative to bakery, restaurants, shops, newsagent. Etc3 Set in a lovely garden setting with amazing Norfolk Pines down the street. Helps with coolness in a heatwave like we had 4 We got hot with the doobas but that is rare for Port Fairy!5 Also golf course close ( hubby happy).

Charming property in loverly surrounds within a short walking distance of the town center.Perfect for a relaxing getaway. And being dog friendly was an added bonus.

First impressions of Adeline cottage were excellent, it had all the facilities we needed, a great location, good host communication, an excellent garden and comfortable beds. Unfortunately this was let down by the smell of sewage from the drains in the bathrooms, so much that we had to stop using the master bathroom all together. It is worth noting that this issue has been mentioned in other reviews.

I made a slight mistake when I booked but owners were understanding & generous. Unfortunately there was no bottle of 'bubbles' left as advertised, nothing left to wash dishes & cottage needs a good scrub. Beds were comfortable & clean. Nice location.

A pleasant 6 night stay in Port Fairy. The cottage is in a great central location, only few minutes walk to everything. We arrived a little early to find the owner (Bore) onsite. Bore was very friendly and he welcomed us with an extra bottle of bubbly. The cottage itself is historic and characterful, and was obviously renovated quite some time ago. Overall it is comfortable, with nice gardens and covered car parking, but inside is showing signs of needing some attention to detail. Quite a lot of chipped and marked paintwork, all the windows are dirty and haven't been cleaned for some time. The ensuite shower frame around the base needs a good clean and the shower door doesn't close properly. Everything is there, but things like the crockery and furniture are a bit shabby. There is a smart TV but no DVD player. There was also no bathmat provided. No a/c at this property and only only one ceiling fan in the lounge. After a 36 degree day, the bedroom could have done with something to cool it down. In summary, a general deep clean and freshen up (paint and minor repairs) would really improve the presentation, however Adeline cottage is worth a stay for it's charm and location understanding that 'rustic' is the probably the best descriptor.

We had a wonderful stay at this property, a great location walking distance to town and the hosts were easy to get in contact with. Gorgeous charming home with a lovely outdoor space, would stay here again. Our only feedback is the couches aren’t the best and could do with being replaced/upgraded.

A lovely quaint property with gorgeous gardens, set on a beautiful tree-lined street. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, river and beaches. The welcome champagne was very thoughtful and the wood fire was very toasty during the cold winter night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Adeline Cottage. Location was perfect, just a short walk to town. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Thank you Bore and Anita
