This is an ideal base for a visit to this beautiful part of the country. The cottage is very cosy, with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. Slight downside is that the wifi is a little temperamental - ok for day to day use, but didn't make it easy to watch Netflix etc! Small price to pay for such lovely accommodation. Winchcombe is a lovely town, with many independent stores and plenty of good restaurants/pubs/cafes to visit. It is a short stroll across the fields to reach Sudeley Castle (although if it is wet, a walk through Winchcombe to get to the castle is not that much longer!), which is definitely worth a visit. The castle and grounds are superb, and the exhibitions are very informative. The Cotswolds can get very busy in Summer, but at this time of year we didn't have any trouble parking in the tourist hot spots, and the weather was very pleasant to wander round. A well enjoyed rest - hopefully we will be back

Very nice cottage handy parking space and good garden area for dogs. We stayed for a wedding in the castle and location was great for that.

Nice well equipped cottage, great location but in need of TLC both inside and out. Wifi very intermittent which affected smart tv and mobiles.

The cottage was lovely and very easy to live in, the double bed is a little small but ok. Garden bigger than expected. Lots of very nice walks and dog friendly places to go. We enjoyed our visit to the castle which was very interesting and informative. A pity you are unable to walk the dogs in the gardens but understand why not. We would return but to a larger cottage.

Really enjoyed our stay. We thought the pictures/photos around the cottage miserable. Pictures of the Cotswolds

Beautifully clean and well furnished, with please outside seating and thoughtful extras such as a welcome pack of biscuits, milk, etc. Some minor decorative issues (bathroom windowsill, for example) and small oversights (such as flashlight batteries being flat). The wifi was pathetic and we were not convinced the router was switched on. Overall an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The property was very clean and very well equipped with everything one could need for a visit. I was particularly impressed by the little touches such as providing milk for the first night plus a supply of tea, coffee and sugar. Everything was very comfortable and there was plenty of information for our stay about the property and the area. I only have two complaints. One was that the back door needs replacing. It was ill-fitting and on one particularly windy day the draught was unbelievable. Secondly the lighting in the kitchen and the lounge was over the top. The ceiling lights were exceedingly bright giving the impression of a hospital operating theatre! It was all or nothing. The lamps in the living room were OK if watching television but not enough if reading so we had to use the ceiling lights. It may have conformed to Health and Safety but killed any atmosphere. However, despite these complaints we had a very enjoyable stay.

Have stayed at this cottage on the Sudeley Castle estate many times before. It’s an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds, and such a pretty village. The real Christmas tree was a lovely touch. Excellent walking routes nearby.

Great little spot for exploring Winchcombe and the whole of the Cotswolds. Lovely little cottage with ample parking. It has a massive kitchen and I was impressed with the amount of supplies / utensils provided including jam, hot chocolate, milk and sparkling wine. The only issue we had was that the shower water was either cold or like warm at best and when you shower, water leaks through the ceiling into the kitchen (despite securely closing the shower door as we had been instructed). If these issues were resolved I’d happily stay again.

Wonderful place to visit the Cotswolds, beautiful walks from the door, complimentary entry to Sudely Castle and Winchcombe is also a very beautiful village but not crowded. Highly recommended!

We had a nice stay despite the weather. The car parking is excellent and the cottage well equipped. We thought it a little expensive but probably about right for the area. We have never had to pay a cleaning charge before. Free entrance to Sudely Castle is an added bonus.

Easy to find and with ample parking available, this was a great little place for our family weekend away to explore the Cotswolds. The free entrance to Sudeley Castle was a bonus. The cottage was well equipped and well presented. Our only observation was the prior water leak from the shower that had come through to the ceiling below. It would be great if this could be sorted out.

Our second visit. Love the cottage, the outdoor seating area, walks from the door and even a circus this time. We will be back. Thank you
