A STORYBOOK COTTAGE!

Peg's cottage is the perfect getaway with the grandkids. The cottage has everything you need, great amenties at Nordic Village. Only thing I would say is outdoor pool should be a bit warmer. But this is no reflection on the cottage. Would recommend and will be sure to return ince again. The owner Peg always goes out of her way to wuickly respond if you have any questions.

The property was simple, comfortable, and cozy. I would have loved to be there in colder weather to use the wood burning stove. I probably wouldn’t have booked it, had I noticed we had to bring our own sheets, towels, toilet paper etc., because we were flying. Not as big of an issue if you’re driving. The neighborhood chickens were fun to watch.

The cabin was comfortable and the pool house was very clean and enjoyable.

Storybook Cottage was exactly as advertised! A lovely cottage tucked away in a quiet wood with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Its a 2 min drive to Storyland and was perfect for my family trip. Thank you!

I very much liked the stay other than not knowing there was a rooster living directly behind me. This rooster called out at all hours of the night. Also eveytime you used any water, toilet, shower, sinks the whole cabin made a loud noise. very annoying

It was clean and well stocked. Convenient location, used indoor pool across the street. Granddaughter thrilled by neighbor's visiting chickens.

Beautiful cabin. Nicely decorated. Needed electrical work. Some outlets not working. Had to bring too much, linen, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.,etc.,. Told to leave as found . But was charged 50 for CLEANING??. TV was constantly searching for channel.

Second time we stayed, love the location, and Peg is wonderful with communication. Highly recommend!

When we first walked in we smelled a strong stench of animal urine. We opened the windows daily and sprayed the place several times. After 3 days the smell subsided. Other than that it was a good stay

Our cottage was beautiful, accomadating, spacious and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back at our favorite spot next year!

We came to the area for the younger children attractions (Storyland and Santa’s Village) and we were able to do both with ease from the convenience of the cottage’s location. My kids loved being to able to come back to the house at the end of each day. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and nice and clean home to enjoy. We will definitely be back!

Pegs house was cozy and clean. A perfect place to stay after our daily adventures

Cottage was perfect for family of 4. We stayed during a heat wave (95-100 degrees) which we weren't anticipating but plenty of fans and being in the shade was a plus. Access to the pools and game room across the street was perfect! The pools cooled us off and we had fun playing pool and ping pong in the game room. Location is nice and quiet, however there was a rooster behind the cottage. We didn't mind it, the kids actually loved hearing it! Hope to make another trip next year. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

This is the most adorable little cottage. Used the stove for the first time. It was great! Heats up really fast. Weather could have been better but we made the best of it. Enjoyed using the outdoor jacuzzi at the Nordic Lodge. We went to the Sunrise shack just minutes away and had a delicious breakfast. Great location for everything you need. Don’t forget to visit Jackson Falls!

This was perfect for a weekend ski getaway! We loved it!! The mudroom area had plenty of hooks and space to leave ski clothes and boots. Plus, the Nordic Center offered a pool and hot tub that was ideal for post-skiing time. The only minor drawbacks were that you had to bring your own towels and linens and the fireplace was hard to light. We would stay again! Peg was very responsive!

Repeat stay. Absolutely love this gem of a cottage. Fantastic location. The pools, hot tubs, sauna and steam room was amazing after skiing. Highly recommend booking here!

Perfect vacation!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy, warm cottage! The house was beautifully decorated with charming vintage touches and a delightful mountain theme, making it feel incredibly inviting.The property amenities were top-notch—we especially loved using the indoor pool and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to cozy blankets, making it feel like a home away from home. The wood stove was such a lovely bonus, especially with the cold weather; it added so much warmth and ambiance to our evenings.The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all got restful sleep. Plus, the house was immaculately clean and smelled wonderfully fresh upon arrival, which we really appreciated.This cottage truly exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return for another stay! Highly recommended!

This property was in the perfect location, we were just minutes at from everything! Peg was great. Peg & her husband made sure to stay on the phone with us until we were inside. It was immaculate.

We love the cottage and it was so clean and convenient to all the local attractions we wanted to see. Highly recommend this cottage. Host was always available and super friendly!

This property is excellent for a couple family of up to 5. It is just big enough. The property was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is nice with plenty of counter space and has a dishwasher for easy cleanup after a meal. There is no air conditioning, so keep that in mind in the summer months but there are fans, and our stay was during warm weather (80s) and we were comfortable. The location is great. It is easy to miss the turn for the street it is on but the next, more visible street also connects into the neighborhood. This is located less than a mile from Storyland and a short drive to North Conway and attitash. The mount Washington auto road is also a short drive north. Peg, the host, is very good about responding to questions and is very helpful and friendly. The rates are also very reasonable, not much more than a hotel room, though you do have to bring your own towels and linens. This was not our first start here, and probably won't be the last either.

Good location near a lot of attractions and hiking trails.

Our stay at Story Book Cottage was, once again, everything we has hoped for. Being close to Storyland, which is a plus after a long day and having access to the pool is great! The cottage is cozy and clean. Can't wait for next year
