The village has a shop, and a pub, or you can head 2 miles to Seahouses for further amenities and places to eat. From here, you can also board aboat trip to the Farne Islands to see the thousands of birds that live there. History bods will love a trip to Dunstanburgh Castle, 8.5 miles away, or pay a visit to the wonderful Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum (10 miles).
