3 Bedroom Oceanfront Cottage with Private Dock and Amazing Views of Linekin Bay!

We loved our visit to Matt's cottage on Linekin Bay! The ocean views were fabulous, the cottage was lovely, and the location was ideal. We enjoyed walking to Boothbay Harbor and Linekin Bay Resort and loved spending time on the beautiful cottage porch. It was a wonderful experience.

Location was great with beautiful view . Was a classic Maine cottage with all the amenities you need including beautiful enclosed porch and wonderful deck and float dock. We made fire several nights. Highly recommend.

The Compass Rose cottage provided a quaint family seaside getaway with beautiful coastal views. The dock was perfect for swimming & fishing. Owners Matt & Jen were very responsive to any issues and made great recommendations for things to do in the area. The neighborhood was great for taking strolls & central to fun areas to explore all around Boothbay Harbor. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Cottage was large and quaint. The hosts thought of everything. Two kayaks & life-jackets are there for use. The kitchen is fully stocked for meal prep and dining. Spectacular views from the living room primary bedroom. This seems the best place in all of Boothbay Harbor.

We loved staying at this beautifully decorated cottage. The view was beautiful, and we loved watching the tide come in and out. We had everything we needed and would love to stay again!

Our hosts, Jen and Matt, were committed to ensuring we had a good stay. The fireplace was great on cool nights!

We had the most relaxing and peaceful time at the cottage, just sitting in the porch watching the lobster boats right in front of you was wonderful! What spectacular views. The resort next door was fabulous to have access to.

We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here and it was such a perfect trip! The Compass Rose Cottage is so charming and the location is absolutely perfect! The cottage, situated on the rocks, overlooks the stunning bay with close access to the downtown area. We loved reading about the history of the cottage and venturing over to Linekin Resort - such a great added bonus. Matt was a wonderful and helpful host who made our stay so welcoming and special. I wish I could bottle up this cottage and keep it forever - but we at least have all the wonderful memories! Thank you for sharing it with us!

So close to the sea, breathtaking from the sunrises to the star-filled night sky, abundant with nature and an ever changing view. Mackerel fishing off the dock, happy hour at sunset on the comfortable deck! Love it! The kitchen is a bit too tiny but who cares?

We recently stayed at this property for a week, had a wonderful and memorial experience. The host was great with correspondence, the house was clean and had everything you'd could need. The history of the house that was provided was interesting and there was a well provided guide of where to eat, things to do and more. Our sons enjoyed fishing off the dock and catching mackerel. Access to Linekin Bay Resort was a big plus too! I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful week at The Compass Rose Cottage!! The cottage is exactly as pictured, so charming, spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need for a week in Maine. The location is perfect, everything we wanted to do and see was 5 minutes away. You can't beat the view from the deck. The owners were extremely helpful and easy to reach. Having access to the neighboring resort was a great bonus. Thanks again

This was our second stay at Compass Rose, and once again, it was wonderful. I can't say enough about the breathtaking views from the deck (and the dock) - from sunrise to sunset, watching the tide roll in and out, along with the picturesque blue skies and sailboats. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops in Boothbay Harbor. We also used the pool, kayaks and tennis courts - some of the amenities that were provided by our hosts through Linekin Bay Resort. Matt was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Compass Rose.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Compass Rose cottage. We loved spending time on the deck and dock just relaxing and taking in the beautiful views. The cottage is very charming, well equipped, and we did not want for anything. The cottage is also well located just a short distance from Boothbay Harbor where we enjoyed the local shops and restaurants. We also explored the beach, preserves and a restaurant in Southport Harbor. Having access to the amenities at Linekin Bay Resort is a huge plus. We played tennis and our sons swam in the saltwater pool. All combined, we had an amazing stay and can’t wait to return.
