Stayed Nov 29, 2024The property was fantastic, better than in the photos! The location was amazing couldn’t have asked for better for the price which was really reasonable. 1 very small nag though… there were no working lights in the hallway, lightbulbs needed changing & the battery’s in the to remotes needed changing. I know these are petty but worth mentioning. Saying that I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Loved the space that the flat offered and the views! The location was also great for us and you can park all day for free on Dalby square around the corner. Area is either a bit grimy or up and coming depending on your personal perspective but we're from South London so could live with a touch of edginess. Roost restaurant downstairs are brilliant and we really enjoyed Forts around the corner. Found Northdown Road behind the flat a bit more interesting than the old town but again that's down to personal taste. On the face of it the flat is pretty amazing and good value and we were just happy to get away before Lockdown 2.0. We would go back but there are a few quirks and issues that we encountered that other guests might be less happy to ignore. Worst issue was our bed sheets - they were covered in dog hair. We only realised late on the first night so just had to turn them over and hope for the best. We got hold of the owner the next day who gave us access to the spare sheets in the locked laundry cupboard. She later sent us a text from the cleaner who seemed to think we were fussy! In these Covid times I think knowing your bedsheets have been cleaned properly seems like the number one priority. Still not sure what happened but didn't want to let it spoil our holiday. Second issue that might affect anyone trying to work or families who are online a lot was the Wi-fi. The code in the book is wrong so we found the router and took it from there. It worked but was very patchy and kept trying to redirect to a BT cloud rather than letting you access a web page. This wasn't a massive issue for us except when the TV reception went off which is an ongoing issue and we were more reliant on Wifi at those times. It is a smart TV though so when we tried iplayer etc it usually worked fine. A few things in the flat needed attention like the kitchen tap, towel rail in shower room and one of the window latches was broken. Oh, and the cheese grater is hilarious - if you find it you'll know what I mean - should be a work of art... BUT - we had a great time. If you can live without perfection so many things make up for the downsides and the photos don't quite do the place justice. However, we're mentally blanking out the dog hairs. Love dogs but would prefer to sleep in a hairy bed where I know who they belong to! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Aug 15, 2020THE PROPERTY WAS VERY WELL EQUIPPED WITH LOVELY SEA VIEWS AND VERY COMFORTABLE. A CLOTHES AIRER WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY USEFUL AS NOT ALL CLOTHING IS SUITABLE FOR THE TUMBLE DRIER & WE WERE THERE FOR 2 WEEKS. PARKING WAS A PROBLEM AS WE HAD 2 CARS & HAD TO LEAVE THEM QUITE A LONG WAY FROM THE PROPERTY IN THE STREET OR PAY £7.20 PER DAY TO LEAVE THEM IN THE LIDO CAR PARK OPPOSITE. IT CAN BE VERY NOISY WITH A LOT OF POLICE & AMBULANCES GOING PAST AT ALL TIMES. A GREAT SHAME AS THE PROPERTY WAS REALLY LOVELY, IF IT WAS IN A BETTER LOCATION BUT WITH THE SAME VIEWS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ALMOST PERFECT.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great apartment with lots of space, for the 6 of us and 2 dogs. Great view from front windows over the sea, although to see the sunset properly you need to walk towards town centre as a building on the sea front blocks the sun going down over the horizon. There are 4 steep sets of stairs up to the top floor where all the bedrooms are. Lovely big kitchen and utility area leading to outside decking area, this really needs a spruce up as the deck paint is looking shabby and the fence around needs painting too, we set the table out there but had to use a bed sheet as a table cloth as there wasn’t one and the table is quite old and worn. All the windows really need heavier window treatments to block out the morning light, we used blankets, the white roller blinds really need replacing. Due to COVID we spent more time in the apartment in the evenings than we would have done, there really is only comfy seating for 4 adults it would be much better with another 2 seater settee. This said we all loved our visit and are thinking of going back again next year. Margate coastal walk is beautiful. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a lovely time. Accommodation perfect for our family even with the little children. I would recommend putting slip mats in the bath and shower. The place was very clean and well equipped otherwise.
