In the centre of Bamburgh (1 mile), you’ll find the famous castle, local shops, cosy cafés and excellent restaurants for dinner out. Follow the coastal path to Seahouses (3 miles) for boat trips to the Farne Islands, a round of golf or some fresh fish and chips, or drive to Holy Island (17 miles) for amagical day exploring Lindisfarne. Beadnell Bay (5.5 miles) is fantastic for water sports, while Alnwick Castle and Gardens (17.5 miles) and Berwick-upon-Tweed (19.5 miles) are great options for days out. With three spacious bedrooms, this stylish retreat is perfect for a family getaway or holiday with outdoorsy friends.

Upstairs are three lovely bedrooms – a generous king-size, a double and a twin – plus a contemporary family bathroom with a large bath (with hand-held shower attachment) and a separate shower.

French doors from the dining area lead out to the rear, south-facing garden which is ideal for children to let off steam. There are two seating areas so you can dine alfresco. Parking is available on the driveway and on the street in front of the property.
