Stayed Sep 20, 2025The hosts have furnished the home with everything one could need and it is spotlessly clean. One of the joys is feeding the deer that visit daily. This was our second visit to Highland Hearth and we hope to return in the future.

Stayed Feb 18, 2025Our family enjoyed our vacation at Beech Mountain. The home was beautiful with everything we needed for a perfect week. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. While we were there we had lots of snow. My granddaughter loved playing in the backyard and sliding down the hills. There was lots of deer that visited every morning. We would go outside and feed them carrots and apples. Thank You Lynne for opening up your home to us.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful long weekend. I had recently been in the hospital for 5 weeks and now I’m recovering from an accident. We wanted to have a change of scenery. The house was perfect! Easy for me to get in and out. Was fully stocked with all your kitchen needs. We also got to watch the deer every morning in the back yard. We would definitely rent this house again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The home was in beautiful condition and prepped for our stay. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths was perfect for our group who were all able to relax and regroup before the upcoming school year . rEnjoyed traveling throughout the area and found great places to eat. Will look forward to visiting again.

Stayed Jul 26, 2024This home is truly stunning. They provided everything as stated and when I asked about firewood for the firepit, she responded quickly. They even had lighters to light the grill. The best part was it was far enough out of the hub hub.. but still close. We even had deer all along the house and within 5 feet of us. Great house and would love to rent again!

Stayed Apr 1, 2024Lovely house that fit our needs perfectly. Everyone had some privacy for downtime and a nice family room for game time, too! Area activities are close by. Spring weather did not cooperate but we had a good time nonetheless.

Stayed Mar 1, 2024The ceckin proccess was super easy. The cabin was spacious and there were lots of board games to play. The front and back patio had rocking chairs which the kids really liked. There is also a fire pit in the backyard, and also a hiking trails that was awesome. Everything was great, we all had a good time.
