Stayed Apr 20, 2024This property was spacious, comfortable, clean and welcoming, with lovely views over the countryside, a perfect combination after a busy day exploring the area. The owner, Helen, was very pleasant and overall we had a lovely stay and would be very happy to go back again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The owner was lovely & welcoming. Cottage is sweet & well equipped. I did bring 6extra cooking dishes simply because Christmas foods demand a lot. It worked out very well & only took me 2 hrs to prepare 14 items for Christmas dinner (3 people), from start to finish with most of it done in the oven & the use of three out of four hot rings on hob. Brilliant.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A lovely welcome from Helen to a spotlessly clean home from home. Very comfortable beds ensured a great nights sleep. Everything we needed for a fab week in Cockermouth which we loved

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely bungalow with everything you could possibly need. Beautifully furnished and finished, especially bedding and curtains etc. Will definitely go again when we want to visit North West lakes.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely bungalow with everything we needed but would have been a bit crowded for 4 people due to restricted space for dining in the kitchen. Lots of walks nearby and even more within 10 miles.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very nice clean house in a quiet area. However, it was quite small inside (when three people were seated at the kitchen table, one person had to get up and move their chair in order to open the fridge/freezer door). If you wanted to seat more than three people, you had to move them into the conservatory. The heating worked fine - except in the bedrooms where it seemed to be turned off.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Well equipped and pleasant bungalow. A little bit of a walk to the shops so needed the car on occasion but as town was very nice this was no burden. Welcoming host.
