Ideal for visit Malham Cove and Malham Tarn, the comfortable stone abode has a creative, reverse-level design, with a balcony and courtyard for outdoor living.


Let yourselves in at ground-floor level tofind yourselves in an entrance hall with space for walking boots, dog leads and coats. Your bedrooms, a double and a twin, and the family bathroom, are also here. Make your way up to the floor above to discover a lounge/diner, with a beamed ceiling and door on to the balcony with far reaching views over Settle. The kitchen, where you can prepare delicious meals with the fresh Yorkshire produce you have bought in town, is also close by. Dine together at the table in the main room then head over to one of the sofas to watch TV, read your books and make plans for the following day. Have a cool glass of wine out on the balcony or in the courtyard on balmy summer evenings.


Potter around the shops in Settle and find pubs and cafes to dine out in. Lace up your walking boots and hike 1.5 miles to see Scaleber Force Waterfall. The impressive, huge curved, limestone rock formation of Malham Cove is 7.5 miles by car from the cottage, while the picturesque, glacial lake of Malham Tarn is 7 miles away. Have a day out to pretty Grassington, 15.5 miles away, with its stone cottages, cobbled square and colourful independent shops.
