Ideal for couples or small families looking for a seaside break, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in the local area. You can even bring your dog along to enjoy some of the fantastic coastal walks. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands (2.9 miles by ferry) to see over 100 different types of seabirds - if you’re lucky, you might even spot a colony of grey seals or a school of dolphins. Along the unspoiledNorthumbrian Coastline, there are many places of interest to discover, including Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles), Dunstanburgh Castle (10.5 miles) and Holy Island (18.8 miles). Leisure activities in the local area include fishing, cycling, boat trips, horse riding and golf.


This stone-built terraced cottage features a cosy lounge/dining area with comfortable seating, dining table, Smart TV and a wood burner. This is an inviting space to relax with family or friends, whether you want to watch a film, read a book or make plans for the next day's adventures. The bright, contemporary kitchen retains its original wooden beams and equipped with everything you’ll need, including a wine cooler. From the kitchen, there’s access to the shared courtyard garden. On the first floor, the king-size bedroom has a cosy wood burner-effect electric fire and a Smart TV, so it’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds and a Smart TV. Both of the bedrooms have character features, including exposed stone feature walls. The bedrooms are served by a contemporary bathroom with traditional wooden beams, brickwork and a freestanding bathtub with an overhead electric rainfall shower.
