The location may have been nice but the smell of the tiny home was so unbearable we slept with the door open. The power was also cut off on us about hour before check out. Couldn’t get enough water pressure to shower. Over all I wouldn’t tell any of my friends or family to ever stay here. Go somewhere else for the same price.
1st time staying in any tiny home. This was cute!! It was just me. I did spend most time away, but i arrived late at night and the community is well lit, and i felt safe. Everyone that walked around was friendly and waved. The only negative i would give is there is no mirror. Sounds silly, but me being a girl, doing my hair or make up i used my phone camera lol. Other than that its a great place!!!
Great little place to stay for a long weekend. Lynzie is amazing to work with! She goes above and beyond.
I came to Florida with my son for his 18th birthday. Didn’t have a whole lot of money to spend so the price point was right in my comfort zone. I always wanted to have a tiny home and figured, why not try one out. The loft space my son was in would have been a good size for me but I gave it to him since he’s well over 6ft tall. It was set up with cute string lights and he was super happy to have the second air conditioner in his window since he has the same at home. The loft I slept in was smaller and had no light switch and a ladder to climb up. Would have been perfect if I brought my younger child but, I’m not as young as I feel and the ladder and I had many disagreements. The pool at the park is worth a visit. Water temp is perfect and it’s super deep. For the price point and the fact that we were out site seeing and traveling all day, it was just the right amount of space for the evenings. Very close to a Walmart and target which was convenient. It was nice and quiet. We did have a mouse in the house and named him Oscar but the host was quick to have a pest service come and we helped show them where the little fella was getting in and out and I’m sure the host will be quick to remedy. Wish we would have been there on a holiday weekend when there would be more RVs and things to really get the feel for RV living and community but it was just right for our stay this time around. I do know now that I won’t handle living in a tiny home permanently but it was definitely a cool
My mom and I stayed in this tiny home after returning from a cruise, we wanted to visit Sanibel Island before returning home. Everything about this listing was accurate. Dont get turned away with the home being in a RV park, it was a very quiet, clean, nice area. Lots of stores and places to go around you! We enjoyed a trip to liquidation, which is similar to an amazon bintime store. The location was close to the airport and only 20 minutes from the island! Communication with Lyndzi was great as well! Thanks for letting us stay in your home.
Overall we had a great time at the tiny house! It is a cozy place and was fun to sleep in the lofts. The set-up is efficient and comfortable. We didn't do any cooking so can't comment on that, but I do wish there would have been coffee filters. The coffee pot also didn't fit properly for the machine (had to prop it slightly for the coffee to run out). The location is in a trailer park which still shows significant damage from the hurricane (so sad). There isn't a lawn or trees like the pictures show but again, this isn't the fault of the owners, just mother nature! It does tend to track in more sand & harder to clean. We did go play shuffleboard (very short walk) which was awesome and very nice. We didn't use the pool or other facilities. The park was quiet and in a convenient location. Easy drive from the airport. Close proximity to the Twins stadium where we were excited to see a game (we're from MN). Lynzie was very responsive, accomodating, and easy to work with. Overall, I would recommend this tiny home for 2-3 people.
A nice little spot and enjoyed walking around the RV park at night.
The tiny house was indeed tiny but was perfect for the 3 of us. Stairs were a bit scary and the ladder loft was not middle age friendly. The house itself was clean, however the outside parking area needs the ground leveled terribly. Not sure we would stay again but always wanted to try a tiny house out and this met my expectations.
This tiny house was a disappointment on a couple of levels. Obviously not well built, and visually very stark, lacking any form of decorating. Storage shelving was minimal and there was definitely wall space for. Stairs to main loft bedroom were awkwardly built and hand holds minimal. This criticism is now for the renting company VRBO. I consistently find your added charges too be much higher and not presented until the end and certainly not indicated on the nightly rates! I've said this before but this time I'm certain I will not be using VRBO. BTW... this is my first negative review and I've been using these types of rental companies for at least 15 years.
Great communication with owners. Could use a bit more kitchen supplies. we already have our next visit booked, Neighborhood was hit hard by Ian but they are doing a good job working on getting things back together. Pool is up and running
Only thing was no bathroom door, only a shower curtain but worked just as good. It was neat, clean & homey. If you can’t climb or have bad knees I wouldn’t recommend due to the stairs. Besides that it’s amazing!
The property was perfect for our anniversary get away weekend. The only hiccup was a rainy night with an unexpected roof leak onto the big bed in loft. The property owners were quick to communicate & ask if they could do anything but we had taken the other 2 beds & placed them together already. The loft steps are steep so just a word of caution going up/down especially at night- but handles are provided. Overall it was great! We got to just relax & enjoy our time together exploring the area!
This place may be right for some but just wasn't for me. There wasn't several kitchen items I needed (such as a mixing bowl), no place to hang my beach towels to dry, was hard to get in and out of the loft, and no way to clean/sort my sea shells. Just depends on what you'll be doing on your vacation if this is the right place for you or not. Wasn't for me.
