We enjoyed the private access to the beach, the elevated deck looking over the water, the peace and quietness of the area i.e. not touristy, the proximity to a catholic church, a nearby fresh vegetable stand, a fresh fish market, and a very nice water side seafood restaurant.

If you are looking for a classic, vintage style cottage on the Cape, then this one is for you. The views from the windows and from the deck overlooking the private, tranquil waters were stunning. It was incredibly quiet along the shore and we felt like we were the only ones there. The cottage is located within minutes of wonderful restaurants such as The Pilot House and the Fisherman’s View. There are also many things to see and do all within 20 mins. At night, many families enjoyed beach bonfires along the water. It was the classic summer beach vacation, simple and sweet. Highly recommended!

My family enjoyed the stay immensely. The house was a very classic Cape beach cottage—small, slightly rustic, but charming. The beach is phenomenal. One thing: a family of raccoons assailed the outdoor trash cans nightly and the bungee cords provided with the home were only partially effective at keeping the lids secure. As a result, we ended up cleaning trash outside the home three out of our seven nights. I’d recommend providing a better solution for future renters. All and all, would definitely rent again.
