Stayed Jan 17, 2026My stay and experience overall wasn’t as great as I thought it was gonna be I had trouble getting into the property. That access code was wrong. Had to contact property manager. I went a day without WiFi. The BIGGEST problem was the gas propane to the property ran out we weren’t able to shower and we had no heat let me remind you I have 3 kids that were with us. The electric heaters were out dated kept turning off. The dishes were half cleaned still had food stuck in certain plates an silver wear. Th cleaning fee is 200 bucks you would think this place would be cleaner. Besides that owner didn’t want to compensate for the loss of our stay at the very end of no gas. He said that it’s out of his control and I said why would you rent a property out if you knew that propane was going to run out please be aware of going to places like this after I booked this stay I noticed the bad reviews and I was like oh no. It was a big inconvenience, knowing that I had to go into town early in the morning before checkout have to go buy propane and use my camping stove to make breakfast. The time wasted and gas is very frustrating. My poor kids I would not ever rent this place ever again.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024When we arrived on December 27 we were settling in and had tried to connect to the internet. We called the owner to ask about the wifi password when he proceeds to tell us that our reservation was canceled, apparently on December 3. However, at no point did we receive a cancellation notice and argued our case.The owner then told us that we need to leave the premises. While packing our stuff we proceeded to call Vrbo teams and Evolve teams. When we called Vrbo they confirmed with us that we still had a reservation, but once we called the Evolve Team they told us that it had in fact been canceled and there was a mistake on their end. As we were talking to the Evolve Team on the phone we proceeded to get calls and emails notifying us that our reservation was canceled. Be in mind this was over an hour after we had signed into the house and settled our belongings. Additionally, the Evolve team proceeded to only offer us a refund and attempt to help us find a place of similar price, which was not going to happen given how difficult it was to find places to begin with. The only other solution they gave us was to add 50 to help us pay for another place. As for the owner, he proceeded to get mad at us for not having left the place yet despite how short notice and complicated the situation was. He was yelling at us, used profanity against us, and he even called us “dirty”. It was severely inappropriate and unprofessional of the owner to do that. Overall we are very dissatisfied.
