Stayed Jan 24, 2026Lovely cottage to spend a week away enjoying the Isle of White. Tiny comfortable cottage with everything you need. A lovely garden to enjoy, with access to nearby beach and coastal walks.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Third time we’ve stayed here with our three dogs, it’s small but cosy, well equipped. Modern amenities. Lovely enclosed garden with gate that leads straight out onto a lovely park with beautiful sea views. The owners are lovely and not at all intrusive and nothing is too much much trouble. We stayed for Christmas and they put decorations up in the chalet. Booked to go again in March. Can’t wait. Highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property is small and can best be described as a chalet rather than a cottage. But this is quite obvious from details available when booking. In no way did the size of the property negatively impact our stay. For us the location was ideal as we like walking with our dog, eating out at lunch and chilling in the evening with a bottle or two. A park is right next door which was ideal for us as our dog likes to stretch her legs before she performs her calls of nature. About 5 or 6 miles of pristine sandy beach is within a few minutes walk (as long as you don't mind the cliff stairs). Nothing on the Isle of Wight is far away so you don't have to spend too long in a car (although during our stay there seemed to be traffic-controlled roadworks round every bend).

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a lovely cottage although it is quite small. We had very inclement weather and when we turned on the radiators they did not come on. Also the trains did wake us up from early in the morning but that was no fault of the cottage, unless you sleep very soundly it can be a problem.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wonderful week at Apple Tree Cottage. Owners couldn't have been better. On hand if needed but not intrusive. Lovely garden, accommodation quite small but as expected from information given. Lots to do nearby and the peace and quiet and fresh sea air we felt in the garden was a delight. Our dog loved the garden as it was completely secure. Would definitely recommend it and would love to go back.
