Beautiful location, stunning views all around. Cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy exactly what we wanted as a base. Quiet area but close enough to walk to the beach front. Can not recommend enough. Thank you for an amazing stay. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What a fantastic cottage decorated to high standard everything you need coffee, tea, milk all supplied by the owner also great view of the sea, would highly recommend as 10 minutes from the town, Went to Bodafon farm with our dog what a great place owls & other animals dog friendly & it’s free lot for children to do top marks for the farmer who runs the farm unfortunately the weather was not on our side but had a great time beautiful scenery only one down fall not very dog friendly could not go to a lot of places as they don’t allow dogs some pubs say dog friendly but you have to sit outside to eat not great if it’s bad weather I feel we never had this trouble in Devon & Cornwall found more dog friendly were they have no problems about having dogs inside pubs

Overall very good however the location means no mobile phones can be used as it is a dead area for signal so once there there can be no communication by phone for this reason l would say that this is why the rating for value for money is lower than it could be

We were very pleased with the cottage. It did take us a while to figure out how to get the heating working though as we have not encountered a remote thermostat! If indeed that’s what it was, as there were controls on the radiators too. But it did get cold on a few evenings - we were there mid-May - so we did need some heating. The information folder was very comprehensive and we put it to good use so perhaps a brief mention of heating controls in there would have been useful. On the other hand, the landlady is on site and provides instructions for making contact. We did make contact towards the end of the week, found out a bit more about the site and we would certainly stay again, although it is not an area that would draw us back in the foreseeable future.
