Stay at this quiet and cozy mountain getaway with your family and friends at Leland Meadow. Explore the great outdoors, go Tubing at Leland Snow park, ski at Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, fish or swim in Leland lake right next to the condo, close to Pinecrest lake and Beardsley lake with all water activities but without the crowd and bustle, hike the Stanislaus National Forest, explore the beautiful tri dam area and natural formations like Column of the Giants, visit beautiful Sonora pass, all within few miles of this home. This could be your hub for many day trip options like Yosemite National Park, New Melones lake, Casino's and more. At the end of the day relax at this 3 bedroom 2 bath with a full kitchen and a cozy fireplace.
This home has a gas barbeque on the front deck for summer barbequing and fireplace for cold winter evenings. There is a Keurig coffee make in the kitchen. There is also a washer / dryer on the lower floor. Bunk beds for kids to enjoy, 2 TVs and a DVD player. There is no cell phone service in the area in general.

There is no trash collection service in the mountains and guests will need to take their trash with them. There is a local dump on Hwy 108 where trash can be turned in for a small fee.
As the condo is at an elevation of 6300 ft, it gets a good amount of snow in winter. During snow storms power outages do occur and guests may experience it during their stay. There are flashlights, candles and some spare batteries for use and also wood for the fireplace. The fireplace in the middle level does a good job of warming the top 2 levels, more than it does the lower level.
Guests may also need to shovel snow to get in and out as snow storms can happen anytime and can be continuous at times dumping a lot of snow.
Snow is plowed in the front and rear access roads but it can take time for the crew to get to it. In general, the rear access tends to get more icy than the front, especially overnight, but, the situation can be dynamic and guests should assess for themselves to make a prudent choice. Driving or walking on icy roads can be tricky. It is a good idea to carry ice traction slip on for your shoes.

After heavy snow fall, the front access metal stairs can get fully covered with snow.
There are snow shovels in the front and back of the house.

Location is nice. There is little lake near building. No internet this area. We had to pay $27/stay for wifi. Wifi was very weak. Hot water was really limited. If one person takes shower, others have to wait quite long. Even half of bathtub couldn’t be filled with hot water.

It was as what as we expected. We have 2 families including 2 small kids. The place is walkable distance to Leland Snowplay. From the balcony, we could see people lining up in the morning. We walked over when the line started. At around 11am, Leland Snowplay was already full. It was quite convenient that way. We also walked back to have lunch/use the restroom and go play again. (The restroom at Leland had long lines.)Just note that for trash, we have to bring it back and dispose it in a trash station about 15 min away (with a cost). It was mentioned in the description as well. Just to be aware of that. Also, the entire area including Leland Snowplay does not have cell reception (at least for Verizon). Just be aware of that.

Great spot for a winter getaway. It snowed while we stayed there and the kids loved being able to go outside and play in the snow. There was no phone or internet connection since there was a storm, so if you plan to stay in the winter keep that in mind. The condo was very cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was very communicative and appreciated that. Will come back and stay again!

A good cabin for family/lower bedrooms worked well for my son/grandson in one room and my daughter/granddaughter in other. Loft was nice as well.We rented during the most recent winter storm; close to 2 ft of snow/24 hour period. The website and the manager alerted us to what to expect but hard to imagine until actually there. From our experience probably best to not stay in this cabin if a snowstorm is expected. The cabin road did not get plowed and one of our cars did get stuck, gratefully the day we left was sunny and we were able to dig out. Kitchen had everything we needed!Minor concerns- soap at bathroom sink and shower not replenished, enough for our 2 day stay. Noice concerns- neighbor kept his TV on all night both nights; at times there would be a burst of noise, they would crank up the volume usually around 5 am for a brief time, otherwise a muffled sound. The property manager was responsive to my inquiry. He responded that an older gentleman owns the property and if we saw him it was ok to ask him if he could turn down the TV. We didn't see him. I am a light sleeper so was more affected than other family members, was able to make do.Dodge Ridge is about a 15 minute drive, a great family ski resort. The cabin is nestled in a beautiful area. Would recommend the cabin for summer and winter if you are sure you won't be in the midst of a winter storm :)That being said, the snow was beautiful and fun to play in the snow around the cabin area.

Pros:- location can't be beat- very responsive property manager- enough room for the 3 of us- extras, e.g. dishwasher detergent, k-cups, and paper towelsCons:- loft was too cold at night to sleep up thereNote: If you notice a soft dinging sound, it might be the dishwasher when it's done

My adult son was born the day before my birthday. We try to celebrate together. We chose this condo thinking there was a lane as it says lake views. In July, it is a swampy pond. The condo is older with older furnishings. The 3rd bedroom is a loft that was too hot to use. 2 weeks after leaving the owner is trying to charge us for something g that was broken when we arrived. You have to pay $25.00 / day to be able to use cell phone to text. “There is a landline for emergencies”. Will never recommend this place to anyone

We had a good time, but....NO Water in the unit for a day. The morning of the trip we were notified that there was a water problem, and we were offered rescheduling We were already packed... my daughter has to pick her vacation days once a year, so changing our schedule was unavailable, so we threw in some water and proceeded. The water was off until the next morning, so there were dirty dishes in our sink, and no showers, and inability to flush toilets until the water service resumed the second day of our trip. The neighbors said that the water problem was common. So even rescheduling, the water issue could arise again. I asked for a partial refund of $100, the manager refused, but offered $40 He says he put $40 cash in an envelope addressed to me ( Cash ????) and it has not arrived after 9 days.

We rented the condo for six of us and had an excellent experience, we look forward to returning soon! My rating is based on host interactions, amenities, space layout, views, attention to details, surroundings and overall experience. INTERACTIONS: Host is excellent and was prompt in communication, provided us with detailed instructions including ideal place to park the car, nearby food options, places to visit as well as voice/data connectivity among other items. SPACE: Condo has 3 levels. Six of us had plenty of space across 3 beds (2 queen size bunk beds, and 1 regular king size bed). 1st level and 3rd level have sleeping space and 2nd level acts as a gathering place along with the kitchen. Having two bathrooms, one on each floor, made getting ready a breeze. Having two entrances gave us flexibility to unload the car from the back without needing any steps. All levels have excellent views of nearby lake and surrounding mountains. 2nd level has two balconies, one on each side that we enjoyed very much! ATTENTION TO DETAILS: The area is out of cell range so the host has installed a satellite connection for both voice and data. Kitchen is fully stocked including spices, coffee and other essentials. The personal touch host provided made it a special experience. SNOWPARK: Leland Meadows Snowplay is just a 2 min walk away. After a hard day playing in the snow park it is a perfect location to unwind and relax. SKIING: Dodge Ridge is only a few minutes drive from the condo
