Air conditioning (mini split) was just installed that will cool the living room and loft!! This 3 bedroom (2 full bedrooms plus a loft bedroom) Ptarmigan condo is the perfect four season Whitefish Retreat. The condo is part of Ptarmigan Village and is located perfectly between downtown Whitefish and the ski/bike/hike trails at Whitefish Mountain resort. Ptarmigan Village has access to a indoor pool and summer outdoor pool. There is an shared outdoor hot tub, sauna, fishing pond, tennis courts, playground, hiking trails and access to Whitefish lake (5 miles away) as part of Ptarmigan resort's guest amenities. The condo itself sleeps 8 comfortably and is perfect for your Whitefish vacation. The main level is the living room with flatscreen TV , wood burning fireplace, dining table, kitchen and a large private deck. One king bedroom and two queen bedrooms plus the living room has a brand new Queen sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook while here including a new refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, a ground coffee maker, crockpot, waffle maker and more. For those traveling with children, the condo has a pack and play, high chair and stair gates for safety. Lots of board games too!!

Ptarmigan Village is only 30 minutes from Glacier International Airport, 10 minutes from the Amtrak Station and downtown Whitefish, 10 minutes from Whitefish Ski and Summer Resort and less than an hour from the west entrance to Glacier National Park.

Whitefish, Montana is the perfect place for a vacation in WINTER or SUMMER! Walk out the front door and you are just minutes from enjoying the best Montana recreational activities: alpine skiing, cross country treks, fishing, hiking, rafting, golfing, art galleries, gourmet dining, & live theater …the activities are endless. Downtown Whitefish is a quaint town with great restaurants, boutique shops, spas, nightlife, and farmer's market (food, arts & crafts, and music) in summertime.

    Our issues with things not clean were taken care of asap. The only thing we had a issue with was finding the property ti beach access. We looked four times before we finally found it on a unmarked private property road. Untill you sent i. It and found the small sign you would have never k own it was there as there was no markings of it at the roadside. Disappointed we didn’t get to go see it . It was a nice place to stay .

    Location was awesome, quiet and lots of matured cedar trees. Amenities was next to none. Clean and the property manager was very helpful. The A/C in the unit is the icing on the cake. Will choose to stay again in future.

    Check-in was a breeze, and having the baby gates and pack ’n play available made our stay much easier with kids. The host was very responsive and quick to help whenever we needed something. Would definitely stay again!

    We had a wonderful stay. Great property and the property management company (Stumptown Vacation Rentals) was great to work with and went above and beyond to make sure things went smooth. They even went to find a bag of clothes I accidently threw away in the dumpster, dug them out, and mailed them to us. This will continue to be our Whitefish rental choice from now on.

    Condo was clean and spacious. Pretty big problem keeping the condo warm. The heating unit is mounted at 9 feet and does not sufficiently blow warm air to the main floor. This resulted in the loft area being 80 degrees and the main floor 60. Owner/manager should turn the base board heating back on. Would not choose this particular condo again.There were no towels or dish rags in the kitchen. Had to use paper towels, which was not ideal.All that being said, the price was reasonable.

    It was a little far from Glacier, but it was a very nice place to come home to at the end of the day. Comfy beds and all the kitchen supplies we needed.
