Stayed Apr 1, 2023Great place to spend a vacation with the family. Clean and roomy. The only complaint is the checking in process. Three desks you must visit and have salespeople trying to convince you to buy a timeshare. When your flight was delayed and you’re tired from traveling, they are trying to schedule you a 90 minute tour to sell you the time share. I had to explain repeatedly I’m not interested, before I was able to get to my room. Other than that, great place.

Stayed Mar 13, 2021The Wyndham Ocean Walk is a timeshare condo “hotel” on a non-driving section of the beach. You don’t get confirmation of your actual room until you check in, so you may get a Daytona city view or a partial ocean view. The photos depicted on the website are exactly what the rooms look like. The 2 bedroom we stayed in was not homey, but the beds were comfortable and it was clean. The 2 issues I encountered were swiftly taken care of. The free wifi in the room is for only 4 devices, but for $25 you may upgrade to unlimited devices. You get a starter pack of basic items: 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 packs of laundry detergent, 2 packs of dishwasher soap, dishwashing liquid, a sponge, small basket of odds & ends: coffee, tea bags, salt & pepper, a small rack of spice packets, and bathroom toiletries. There’s plenty to do for everyone: beach, outside pool & lazy river, inside pool and inside mini golf. Also very close to the Boardwalk and nearby Main Street. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if we were to stay in Daytona.
