Windsor, California
Resort is located on ten acres with multiple 3-story buildings, all with elevators. Nestled into the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, Windsor is a small town with deep roots in farming and winemaking. Lively restaurants abound. Adjacent to the resort is the challenging Windsor Golf Course, host to six PGA Nike events. Resort includes outdoor pools, outdoor spas, fitness center, sports court, arcade to name a few. Ample parking on site available.
If you're looking for a place to stay while wine tasting, this is it! So close to everything from wineries to restaurants!
Location was great. Windsor is a very nice town. Easy access to hiking and wine tasting.
We love the location and the size of the unit was just right, sufficiently stocked with toiletries, kitchen needs and the A/C worked well. WiFi was not included and the requirement to use a third party supplier was unexpected. The WiFi third party phone support was terrible. Fees started at 2 devices and up from there for more devices which was unreasonable when other resorts include WiFi access. The beds in the second bedroom were a bit too soft which may be due to long term use or misuse.
Wonderful resort with great room configuration and recreational offerings. However, cell service is horrendous. Really wish this place would include WIFI with stays.
We stay here 5 to 6 times a year. I think that says allot!
Nice Wyndham timeshare property
Great location for easy commute to Healdsburg
This place was clean, neat and quiet.
Condo was comfy, neat and clean and has everything we needed for our stay. Check-in crew was especially nice and friendly. One bedroom with king bed, second bedroom with two twins and one double Murphy bed in the living room. I would suggest the listing include those details because it’s not easy to tell, but when I reached out to the hosts to confirm the bedding situation, they were quick to respond. Can get a little road noise and hear people going in and out of their condos with their suitcases because of thinner walls, but all in all, I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again.
Overally, the place was great. The TV situation was outdated, had to use Blue Ray for movies (there were some for $3 in the office), had to pay for Wifi and they didn't have anything to cook with (spices, oil, sugar) like you tend to get in a house VRBO setting, and the check out time was 10 (too early!) but that's my list of complaints. It was clean, had 3 beds for my grown boys, the pools were nice and the staff was super friendly/helpful.
We visited the national parks and this was a perfect central location to get to them. The hosts are fantastic and take excellent care of you and the unit is top notch!!
Nice place to get together with friends for a wine tasting weekend. Nice restaurants nearby but can also easily prepare meals in the unit. Well maintained unit.
