Whiffletree D2 – 3BR Condo with Fireplace, Ski Home, & Shuttle

Location is fabulous. There is no shuttle service for this unit even though it was advertised as such. We also had a beam unglue from the ceiling. Luckily it is made from styrofoam. The only dresser is in the master bedroom. The other rooms you have to store your stuff on the floor. It's great for 4 adults. Cramped for 5. Otherwise the location was great. The trail from Snowshed was a hoot and we had the mountain to ourselves.

The couch is falling apart. The pots and pans are very minimalist. The master bed is horrible. Not what was expected,

We booked this several months ago and was really looking forward to relaxing in Killington. Instead of two twin beds for our 17 and 18 year old sons, the room only had one full sized bed. When we politely pointed it out, Killington rental associates got passive aggressive by reminding us that the listing described a common headboard. In fact, they changed the photos on the listing after we arrived. We were prepared to make the best of it had they simply acknowledged the mistake and apologized but even that didn't happen. The property also had a broken chair, broken dishwasher (which they did fix) and some minor cleanliness issues (e.g. cobwebs). The location is great and we enjoyed the mountain but I'd avoid this unit and, if you possibly can, Killington rental associates.

Exterior of build is under construction. Roof and siding is being replaced. Was not notified of this prior to renting. Awoken by construction crew 07:30 every weekday. Refrigerator leaks water, Ceiling cosmetic beam separating from ceiling. Unit has chemical smell and being a 1st floor unit you cant keep windows open to vent unit. Would not rent unit again.

The condo was clean and well furnished with good wifi. There was a bit of a musty smell. The price was very reasonable and I would want to give this a 5 star, but one evening I was walking outside near the garbage dumpster, heard a noise, turned around and there was a large black bear about 10 feet away , coming from inside the dumpster. It was able to break thru the plastic lid. It should be replaced by the condo association with a metal top. Apparently some of the long term residents know about this and almost seem to laugh it off. However, other than that It is a nice location with a nice swimming pool . The owners take good care of this place and I recommend it.

Regardless we had a great time. The kitchen and bathrooms were great.

Perfect little living room and kitchen. Had a great time. Great showers.
