The condo was clean and very spacious. Easy to get to the beach. Would stay there again

Check in was very easy. Being our third stay in Runaway Bay, we knew what to look forward to. Everything was great. One issue we had was that the door handle was missing on the master bathroom and my wife locked herself in. We had to slide her a butter knife so she could break out. Thanks again.

Wonderful!! This place was great for our week stay as a family. Spacious condo unit stocked with needed supplies (we cooked there twice and found all we needed in the kitchen). It is a short walk to the beach and the pool is amazing! The walk to Bridge Street is great too! Would definitely book this again and highly recommend staying here.

Runaway Bay is an amazing property. It’s a super quick walk to the beach, even quicker to the pool. We walked to Bridge Street a few times, not a bad walk. Unit was perfect for us. Had everything we needed, very clean, we were very comfortable. The decor is a little dated, but the pictures accurately depict and we were not at all disappointed. Will definitely stay again!!

Very good equipment, 3 minutes from beach. Private parking and gym. Pool was closed during our stay but we are looking for the next visit when we can use it. Calm and safe area. We will come back definitely.

We had a great time. We got to see manatees and dolphins while we were out in the ocean. It was absolutely amazing!!

Good price and location, highly recommend

The unit has all that is necessary for a short stay and is a good price for what it is offered. With that being said, I was glad I didn't have to make meals in the kitchen. The cabinets and refrigerator door all open the wrong way making the work flow complicated. The air conditioner does not cool the Master bedroom and the fan blade is twisted which makes the fan motor have a humming noise. Master Bedroom hot water faucet leaks and must have a towel to prevent it from going on floor. There were ants in the bedroom and bathroom which crawled inside my makeup bag and book if I left them on the counter. The unit needed a DEEP cleaning and I made management aware by showing them the dirt. However, no one offered to make it right. But long story short, if you are willing to put up with a few minor inconveniences the place is worth it!! Beautiful view of pond off deck, easy access to beach and pool. Oh, and buy your own ice, because the ice maker is very noisy and will keep you up all night banging if it needs to make ice, especially if you are not sleeping well because of the lack of air in M.B.

Some minor issues; dripping faucet in front bathroom and the tub stopper didn’t work. Tiny ants (sugar ants?) in master bedroom and living room. A can of ant spray was on the counter in the kitchen. So must be an ongoing problem. Water was shut off to complex for 2 days ( limited hours) on Monday and Tuesday. 4 Galion’s of water was provided for use to cook with, drink, brush teeth, etc… but still an inconvenience. Was told by Amanda they would have a meeting the week after to discuss compensation for this inconvenience. Pool closed one evening at 7:40 pm and the rest of the time at 8 pm? One site said it was open till 10pm… not true. Only 1 key was provided for this unit. Carpet by dining room has a large stain. Needs replaced or deep cleaned. Lastly the ice maker in the frig was not working. I left a paper with Jamie at the office on Friday concerning all the above… as of yet no response. And I previously called and left a VM with a few of the above issues. Condo was adequately stocked. This condo could use some updating though but was decently priced. The complex is very nice and well maintained. I would definitely consider staying in this complex again but not in this unit.

We love Anna Maria and we were excited to be travelling again. The community is in a great location, the pool is fantastic and the beach is the best! Unfortunately, the condo was not at all clean: food crumbs under and around the dining table, sticky (syrup?) On the table, hair and dirt (and a penny) on bathroom floors, knob on pantry are actually black with filth...Just to name a few things. I would have expected during a pandemic there would be EXTRA care with the cleaning.
