Great Condo. Walkable to Town Square. On the Ski Shuttle Loop. Workable kitchen. Comfy hangout space. Plenty of sleeping options! Great family spot!
Very cozy and had plenty of room. Our stay was very enjoyable. Very pleasant and easy.
-Dirty kitchen with food on the molding/cabinets/peninsula wall. -Broken dining room chairs left in a position someone could sit in by mistake and get seriously hurt. -Ripped cushions on living room furniture with stuffing hanging out. -Kitchen light hanging out of ceiling fixture. -Dirty fridge. -Cooking pans in cabinets with caked on food in them. -Carpets look dirty. -Mattresses in master bedroom were horrid. Akin to sleeping on a mountain. Sleep at own risk. -Missing light switch covers, holes in walls. -FIRE HAZARD/ELECTRICAL HAZARD - outdoor porch has open electrical box with live wires. Prop. Mgr. claims it was disabled. Disabled = shutting interior light switch off and placing electrical tape over the switch. Exterior outlet is also exposed with no cover or weather protection. -Broken fireplace (but advertised in listing as having a fireplace). -Top it all off with the construction zone outdoors. Wonderful views out the windows of giant dumpsters filled to the brim with construction debree. Ladders. Construction materials under tarps. Vehicles in parking lot. Plus workers smashing, cutting, banging, yelling, and singing from morning to 7:30p at night. Making for an exceptional vacation environment. None of this was disclosed prior to, or during, the rental process. Nor when we picked up the keys to check-in.
This condo has everything you need for a stay in Waterville Valley. We also rented a larger house so all the cooking took place there. We did have our breakfast in this condo, though. The kitchen was well stocked with dished, etc.. This condo is in a great location. You can walk to everything. We were very satisfied staying here.

Loved that we could bring our little cocker spaniel and there was plenty of room for all of us. Excellent, Kathy and team made helped us with everything we needed.
Overall the place needs a deep clean and a clean out. The kitchen needs an inventory, many missing items that I would expect a kitchen to have. Many items that need to be replaced, chairs, faucets, lights, etc. The water heater works; it just needs to be turned up. I assume it’s turned down to save money, as a hot shower requires the faucet to be turned all the way to hot. We enjoyed the location and the unit’s layout was perfect for our family. I would probably prefer to stay in a different unit in the future.
We were told upon arrival that the hot water heater capacity was limited and to not expect to be able to take showers, wash clothes and run dish washer.... This is a three bedroom condo with 6 adults and a toddler - so nowhere overcrowded... OK, like the inoperable fire place, hot water situation was not disclosed before hand, but we all live on boats and know how to conserve water. But this is worse: #1 Son in-law took the first shower @ 6 AM before ANY use of water and it was COLD. Waited til afternoon then Two showers. Luke warm water throughout the first day. Ran dishwasher after showers so everything would replenish during the day. Today other son-in-law jumps in first thing - cold shower. Then myself 2 hours later.... cold shower. This is not normal and indIcates EITHER the element needs to be replaced or the entire unit needs to be replaced. I own three properties and I WOULD NEVER TREAT A TENANT LIKE WE WERE TREATED. The unit was dirty and showed signs of major deferred maintenance and a lack of pride in ownership. We had a wonderful weekend except for the condo unit which was a big disappointment.
This is our second year at this property and we are very fortunate to have been able to rent it two years in a row. We just love the unit and it fits our family perfectly. This group is very easy to work with and so accommodating. Really a pleasure to work with.
