Waters Edge - Walking distance to everything!

This condo is well equipped and very comfortable. The owner has made everything as easy as possible for their guests. Parking is a little confusing.

My wife and I traveled to South Beach for a short getaway. Owner communication was timely and informative. Check in was easy using pin codes provided. Parking lot is across the street, but there is a lot next to the building that has a 15 minute loading and unloading zone that was handy for luggage and groceries. There is also free street parking that we would utilize whenever we could find a spot. There is one elevator that is slow, but we ended up using the stairs and found that was much faster. The condo has everything you need and some. Owner has provided a handful of charging stations. Large windows let in lots of light and we enjoyed having our morning coffee looking out the window watching people and cars pass by. There is a large deck that overlooks the Black River that we used to unwind with drinks and/or dessert after sunset each night. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants as well as both South and North Beach. We enjoyed walking to North Beach each night and getting ice cream from the concession stand and watching the sunset. There is a public path that cuts through the marina, just look for the path markers painted on the concrete. Large chain grocery stores are about 1-2 miles away to stock up on whatever you may need. Freezer didn't have an ice maker so fill up ice trays right away when you get there so you'll have ice. There is a liquor store/sandwich shop across the street as well. We look forward to going back in the future!

Pretty beaches, great to walk everywhere. Not crowded at the time of the year that we went. Lots of shops closed for the season, but we still found some places open and that was enough! Very relaxing overall. The property was very nice and we would definitely stay again, perhaps at a different time of the year.

Awesome location!

Great place for a last minute long weekend. The owner takes excellent care and attention to details. It’s very small but the space is maximized to its full potential. Lots of creative storage solutions to provide guests with just about every essential and even some nice extras and little comforts. The coffee and tea provided as well as the little touches (toiletries, enough tp and towels, etc) in the updated bathroom were greatly appreciated. Even provided ear plugs and a white noise machine in the bedroom to help muffle the road noise and sounds from neighbors upstairs. The off site parking is a bit inconvenient but it still served us well overall. It’s also one of the cleanest STRs we’ve stayed in.

Walking distance to downtown & beautiful deck view! Property had everything you could possibly need!

Easy to walk everywhere in South Haven as well as just chill on the deck and people/water watch. Property was exactly as described, plus clean and with all the amenities we needed. Beth was communicative and helpful, will definitely stay again!

Check-in was easy. Parking nearby is convenient and assures you of having a designated lot. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. The deck is great for boat watching.

Well organized and decorated space located so close to everything. Always a great stay!

Great place to stay, blocks from the beach and downtown!

The property and location were fantastic! It was a perfect place to walk anywhere in South Haven. The place was super clean and had everything we needed.

I spent 4 nights at this condo, never got in my car! This location is great if you like to visit both sides of the river. I was able to walk to north beach with my beach chair and bag in tow with minimal to moderate effort. Also walked to north beach for a couple sunsets in the evening with minimal effort and felt very safe walking thru the clean well kept neighborhoods. On the south side, I walked for coffee every morning at one of the handful of coffee shops. Also walked to church at St Basil and enjoyed some quiet prayer time at their small Marian Grotto before walking down the Blue Stairs to beach walk south beach. Enjoyed all the shops and restaurants on south side as well. Also walked the river walk and out the south pier to the lighthouse. I got a ton of steps in everyday, enjoyed restful beach time, slept very soundly at the end of day in comfortable and well appointed condo! This was a perfect getaway for me! Can’t wait to do it again next year!

Property was really nice but a lot of construction going on

We had a fantastic 20th anniversary get away weekend at Water's Edge! The condo was great and had everything we needed! It was the perfect location with stunning views of the Black River and marina area and is extremely close to many great restaurants, bars, breweries, shops and the beach! We fell in love with South Haven on this trip and would absolutely stay here again. The owner was great to communicate with and gave us many good ideas for where to dine and shop and what activities were available for our 20th anniversary. As a first time vacationer in South Haven, we were totally surprised. The accommodations were wonderful and in a great location. We would definitely return not only to South Haven but also to the VRBO Waters Edge.

It’s the best location you can have in South Haven. The condo supplied the little things you need without going to the store. Coffee (Got spoiled with the Keurig), toilet paper, paper towels, starter on shampoo, conditioner etc. Kleenex. It was small but very clean. I would definitely stay there again!!

We were able to walk to most destinations. The property was well equipped and clean and the property manager was accessible. Enjoyed our stay.
