Walk to The Strip! Great Cove Water for Lake Fun

We have been coming to the Lake of the Ozarks for several years, multiple times per year and this was the nicest or second nicest VRBO condo we've stayed at. If green space was more readily available for dogs to do their business it would rank as the best. We didn't bring our furr babies on this trip but we did notice a lack of green space area for them. Because of no furr babies we didn't really use the spacious kitchen or grill outdoors as we dined out on this trip and cannot rate either fairly. Clean and comfortable location with plenty of room.

Beautiful and clean place. I really liked the location by the Bagnell strip. Amenities provided were great and plentiful. The only negative thing I found was that the curtains in the room with the bunk beds are sheer and, at night, people in the parking lot can see you changing your clothes. The curtains in the master bedroom are the same and people walking along the dock at night can also see you changing clothes.I recommend more opaque curtains for better privacy.

Great location, clean, queen size bunk beds were comfy & roomy. It was easy to find. We would recommend staying there. You only get 2 parking spots so if you come back late your reserved spot maybe taken.

Nicely updated and at the end of a small cove. We stayed during the off season so it was a peaceful week. Close to the strip so you’ll have several bars/restaurants to choose from.

They need darker curtains or shades in bedroom

This was a great place to stay at when I was in town for a quick visit of work. Right in the heart of Lake Ozark and with so many great restaurants around!

Stayed there with my wife, our son and two small pups. Our host was always in contact with us and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The unit was very clean and updated. The quiet cove with main channel views was exceptional. The swim/boat dock was set up nicely for swimming, fishing, or just relaxing at the picnic tables. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to a return visit.

My stay had a rocky start. We given a room change right shortly before we got to the property. The room we were given was dirty, the manager quickly moved us to another room. We'd booked a 2 bedroom but we're upgraded to a 3 when our room wasn't ready. It was bigger but there were only two of us. The place was really nice, unfortunately it was just a place to crash and were only there long enough to sleep and shower. This would be a great home base for a family vacationing with children.

We enjoyed our stay at Castaway Cove. Our unit was immaculate, comfortable, and charming. Our host was very accommodating and quick to respond. We fully intend to book again in the spring. The 'swag bag' was a nice and thoughtful surprise. I'd give our experience 10 stars if I could. ~the Petersons

We had so much fun! Units are modern, clean, have all the amenities you need and are in a great location! Being pet friendly is also a huge plus! Our fur babies had the best time! They loved jumping off the dock and with the quiet cove we didn't have to worry about boat traffic at all it was perfect. We will absolutely be coming back!

We had a blast on our girls weekend at this property! Beautiful place & super clean!

Property was in excellent condition, workers we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. Grandkids loved the dock and the lake. Was a very relaxing week.
