The Space:

Island light catches the mountain ridgelines just before the city wakes - from the 17th floor of Waikiki Banyan Tower 2, that's the view that greets you each morning. Whether you're here for a long weekend or an extended stay, this one-bedroom condo puts you in the middle of one of Honolulu's most walkable neighborhoods, steps from the beach and surrounded by everything the area has to offer.



Living space

The open-plan living area flows easily between the lounge and kitchen, keeping the space relaxed and uncluttered. A window AC unit keeps things comfortable, and the 43-inch TV with standard cable and Ethernet connection means you're covered for downtime. Room-darkening shades, a closet, dresser, and hangers keep the space organized for longer visits. An iron is also available.



Sleeping arrangements

The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding panel door and is set up with one queen-size bed and one full-size bed. The living area offers a pull-out sleeper sofa - best suited for children or occasional use - bringing total capacity to four guests. Cotton bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets are provided for everyone.



Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is fully stocked for home cooking, with Whirlpool stainless steel appliances including an electric stove, single oven, microwave, and dishwasher. A drip coffee maker and complimentary coffee get mornings started, and the dining table brings everyone together for shared meals. The kitchen also includes a rice maker, blender, toaster, baking sheet, hot water kettle, wine glasses, cooking basics, and a full set of dishes and silverware.



Outdoor space

The private lanai is the spot to slow down - outdoor furniture and an outdoor dining area make it easy to sit with a coffee or catch the evening light as Honolulu settles in below. Beach essentials including beach towels, umbrella, beach blanket, and snorkeling gear are provided for your days out. Sun loungers and a shared electric BBQ grill round out the outdoor options.



Bathroom

The bathroom includes a bathtub with shower, hot water, and a full set of essentials - shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, and cleaning products.



Building and facilities

The building features elevator access and a private entrance, with self check-in via keypad for a smooth arrival. Free parking in the on-site garage accommodates one vehicle, and a Level 2 EV charger (220V) is available on the premises. Paid washer and dryer access is available within the building. Shared beach access is nearby, and the building offers free resort access.

    Great condo super close to the beach and shops/restaurants in Waikiki. Super small bathroom and hard mattresses, but we would stay here again.

    You are not getting the brightly coloured condo in the pic. The condo reminded me of the feel of an old student residence that has been heavily used by travellers. Everything is cheap and worn. However, it does serve its purpose as a place to sleep, prepare for the day, and cook easy meals. It’s functional. We like to use our holiday rentals as a place to relax in the evening, and it just wasn’t a place you’d want to hang out in.

    Our stay in this condo was great. This condo fit all our needs. Waikiki Banyon is the perfect place to stay, and we've stayed here for years each year visiting family in Honolulu. No surprise resort fees and parking fees. Laundry and trash on each floor. Just a block from the beach right in Waikiki and next to the zoo and aquarium. See you next year.

    Being only 2 blocks from Waikiki beach was great! It was also wonderful to have the beach chairs and towels. Parking was a plus, though the garage height limited our vehicle options. Check in was a breeze and the custom lock code was very smart! My only complaint is we could've used nicer pillows.

    The Midway Vacation company made the whole process effortlessly, from booking to checking out, with clear, prompt communications along the way. The condo is comfortable, clean & conveniently located in Waikiki. The free parking is a plus. The pool is nice & shallow (mostly 4ft w/the deepest at 6 ft), which is perfect for the kids. The only draw back is: it's an old building and the elevator can be very slow. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

    Very clean, convenient location. Lobby and hallways dated as expected but actual condo was nice and bright. Great view of the mountains. Would be great to have block out curtains on windows and the door to lanai and bathroom door both need attention (very difficult to open). Having a kitchen and parking space was great. Pool here wasn’t great but we just spent time at the beach anyway. Good for the price for Waikiki
