Updated Hale Ono Loa condo with ocean-view lanai and pool

Clean, but inconvinient.

During our stay the elevator next to us was being renovated. In addition a close by condo was being remodeled. We had constant jack hammering and garbage carts loaded with carpeting and furniture being wheeled right outside our window. We could not hear ourselves speak.This was every day except for the weekend. Management did offer to relocate us to an eighth floor condo a few miles away but due to mobility issues this was not feasible.

Great lil condo. Service was EXCELLENT. Only thing is there are no curtains so felt exposed.

We loved the turtles that would come to the front of the condo every evening, we loved the easy parking, the clean laundry room, we loved the sweet touches like yummy chocolate and coffee, we LOVED the mattress, we loved the sunsets, we loved the lanai, we loved the bbqs and pool, we loved the lush gardens we loved all the beach gear in the patio closet!

The unit was clean and there’s plenty of things that were provided that was just nice to have such as beach equipment! Property was clean and pool area was a great place to cool down on the warm days. -1 star due to the lack of airconditioning and curtains for the glass doors. Nights were uncomfortable due to the heat, even with ceiling fans in every room and the two extra box fans on. Lack of curtains meant worrying about being seen through the glass doors to the pool area. We just felt a bit exposed. It’s a good property to stay at, just need AC and curtains :)

Clean and updated condo. Nice ocean views. Safe. I took my grand daughter who enjoyed herself immensely. Close to grocery store and restaurants. About 5 miles from Dt Lahaina.

We loved our stay here and would gladly come again. It rained over the majority of our stay and it was a cozy place to be during the heavy intermittent showers. You can see part of the ocean from the lanai but if you walk out near the pool there is elevated seating to have a better view. It is located near some of the bigger resorts with several of our favorite beaches. There are many local mom and pop shops for good food and shopping. Thank you to Vacasa and the owners of this property for sharing a little piece of Hawaiian heaven with us.

Check in process was well executed. Condo was well maintained and clean. Location and views were wonderful. Would stay again for sure.

The neighbors above watched us constantly and called the property manager on us saying we were vaping at the pool (it was an asthma inhaler)

There are a bunch of water/beach supplies in the outside closet to use that were very convenient and allowed us to save money by not having to buy them on our own. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic and appliances/bathroom are renovated which is a plus. Kitchen is fully stocked, so it's easy to cook in. The poolside propane BBQs work well. The patio has a nice view of the pool and the ocean, even for being on the bottom floor. You are able to see the ocean while sitting in the bed! The unit is in a great location. Super quiet and just a few miles north of Lahaina. They have more than enough linens/supplies for a party of two, which was great since we were there several days. Hosts responded quickly to a couple of questions we had. We'd def stay again!
