A gorgeous ocean view, an ideal location within walking distance of downtown Ventura, and a beautifully updated interior combine to make this two-bedroom cottage the perfect choice for your next vacation! And you can pack light - since the cottage sits just over a mile from the beach, all you’ll need is your swimsuit. There is outdoor dining furniture for six on the patio.
At home, the spacious, sun-splashed balcony is the best place to start the day with a cup of coffee. Inside, you’ll find tons of natural light and a fully refreshed space. From the flooring to the paint, fixtures, and furnishings, everything is new and fresh. The chef will adore the gleaming kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and lots of workspace, and the gang can dine together at the barstools or window-front bench table, soaking up that view. When you get back from a day out, relax in the central AC while you stream the latest release or catch up on email with the free WiFi. Fire up the grill for an easy dinner, or step out to one of many local restaurants. With more perks like central AC and an in-home washer/dryer, the only question remaining is how many extra days to book.

Nice property, good location. BUT if something goes wrong, be prepared to wait or go to a hotel. We could not work the lock, and it took 5 hours (by then it was after 11p) for management to get back to us. This is unacceptable and got us off to a bad start. The hot water in the master bath was unreliable, although in the sink and in the hall bath was ok. There is no dishwasher, which worried me about whether the previous guests were diligent when washing their dishes. And the remote on the TV was hard to operate, not responding or slow, which is frustrating when getting all tv by app. Be careful getting out of the shower there is no bath mat. The location was walking distance to all the action. Important to know that this home is on a very steep hill, giving you a good workout when returning. The management has its own website, not VRBO, and did not publish my review. I wonder why.
First off, the place was nice. Here is a quick pros and cons for the unit itself before I speak about the management: Pros: +Newly Renovated +Clean +Location - You could see the ocean but parking is a bit difficult unless you get lucky and snag the single parking spot. +Comfortable? Memory Foam Mattresses you will love/hate Cons: -CHEAP window coverings felt like they would break whenever you adjusted them. -Front Door has low windows with no coverings that 6' tall people can just look into your living room. -Second Bathroom Shower drained SLOW and would rise past your ankles in a 10 minute shower -Toilet was partially clogged? Weak Flush and no amount of plunging would fix it. -Both sliding screen doors weren't attached at the bottom. -Neighbor blasted music during the day but stopped at night. -Management (see below) -Intrusion (see below) While we were out of the unit shopping some guy that I'm assuming was maintenance opened the door of our unit and messed with the door lock. Then he left a sarcastic note on the door that the door locked fine. He left then came back and put dishwasher pods in the kitchen. I'm assuming he went to the wrong unit since this unit doesn't even have a dishwasher! We contacted management and the lady that answered the phone was rude and sounded like she hated her job. Did nothing, offered no apology and said that she would look into the problem and call me back. I knew she would never do it by the tone of her voice and I was right. As long as you don't need management and everything is fixed when you arrive you should have a fine time as long as maintenance doesn't just barge into your unit unannounced.
