Updated beachfront condo with beach setup - quick drive to entertainment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

The stay was great. The master bed was very hard and could use some pillow top extras to help out. The A/C unit got clogged but Maintence came and fixed within the hour and the air stayed cool on 72/73x

There were pros and cons to this rental. Pros: - Fantastic location, right on the beach - Clean beach, clean pool - Staff was responsive - Easy parking - Easy access to carts for lugging stuff to and from room - View is great Cons: - The room itself was tidy but NOT clean. All of our feet were very dirty after walking around the room for a little while. - Sheets and towels were fairly rough - Furniture needs to be replaced, not too comfortable but does the job - Biggest con is that our window fell out of the wall during a thunderstorm one night. This was not only terrifying and dangerous but it kept us up all night as we had to figure out a way to keep it from falling out and keeping rain out. We informed the staff the next day and they nailed up a piece of wood as a temporary fix. They said they wouldn’t compensate us for our troubles because the weather caused the issue. But if the window was secured in the first place this wouldn’t have been an issue at all. I was pretty disappointed in customer service for this issue as we lost an entire night of sleep, along other things.

Very clean, beachfront, well appointed and comfortable. We would definitely come back. P

I'm going to start this review with the positives. I have stayed at multiple locations over many years visiting Okaloosa Island. My normal place to stay was doing construction and was unavailable. I came upon Island Echos and felt it would be a good replacement, if not a really nice upgrade to our usual accommodations. Condo is beautiful and roomy. Loved that. Others seemed to have problems with the beds. I did not experience this issue and thought the beds were quite comfortable. Nice really big screen tv in living room. We watched free movies every night and my boyfriend enjoyed watching the World Cup. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner here. We were not really lacking anything that we needed except maybe extra kitchen towels and some sort of kitchen cleaner. I had to buy clorox wipes at grocery store so we had something to use to clean counters/etc. View, balcony etc... love love love. You are set back a little in this condo so your view can be slightly obscured, but nothing that serious How could one have a problem with that beautiful sunset??? Chair/umbrella service is great in offseason My son said the place felt very cozy, and I would agree. It was a very comfortable nicely decorated condo. Go to Stewbies up the road for fresh seafood- we got shrimp from the market one night. Delicious. Then, we ate on the other side. So good. Worth the wait. Property Manager is so responsive, which is great. They texted us almost daily to make sure everything was ok. Now, I must discuss my issue. Condo and complex is advertised as non-smoking. If you look at amenities above, it specially says this. This is very important to me. It is something I look for almost immediately. I have migraines and cigarette smoke can trigger them. Plus, no one in my family wants to be subjected to someone else's cancer causing smoke. It is disgusting. On more than one occasion, people were smoking on their balconies. I even managed to identify one of the units and contact that property manager, who said smoking is allowed on the balconies. As the week went on, one time I was down on the beach looking back and there were at least 3 balconies with active smokers on them. One lady was even tapping her ashes onto the awnings below. Vacasa reps basically told me there was nothing they could do about other units not under their control but that they would report it to the HOA, which I appreciate. Just FYI to others.

Seamless check-in, helpful staff, and a nice condo. Two beach chairs and umbrella included. Will definitely consider booking again.

Everything was great. Only suggestion would be mattress toppers or new ones. Very uncomfortable beds.

The property location is perfect! Condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. Beach set up was included and there were extra beach chairs in the closet. The only reason for the 4-star rating is the beds are a bit uncomfortable.

This was a great visit to Okaloosa Island. Nice complex and the unit was also comfortable and clean. The unit also had basic essentials such as dish detergent, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, paper towels, trash bags. These are things you don't always get when renting a condo. The only minor negatives were the unit is in great need of some new saute pans, and a cutting board. We LOVED the complimentary beach service.
