Stayed Nov 21, 2020Location was great as it was next to a nature preserve on one side and a small complex on the other side. That made for plenty of room on the beach. Condo complex was quiet and fairly small. Other than the pool there aren't any other amenities really on site. Disappointed there was no hot tub. You have to drive for food and shopping but plenty is close by. The room was nice and clean however a little dated. Some pealing paint in the bathrooms and the tub had some rust but overall it was a nice, clean, well stocked condo. We had no maintenance issues during our stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our 18th year to stay in this complex. We should have read the full description. We are used to having chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. Unfortunately, this unit closet was not available to renters. While this was a nice unit, we will probably not rent 201 again. We are also used to salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc. being there for renters but not this unit. I know COVID had a lot to play in this rental, but we sure are used to there being more.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved it! This condo has a beautiful, quintessential beach cottage feel to it. Our family of four was very comfortable and at home. Enjoyed the lovely view and gorgeous grounds. Also enjoyed the short walk to the beach. All in all, it made it easy to relax.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This condo was a relaxing retreat for our spring break (2 adults and 2 teenagers). It was very clean, nicely updated, and well stocked with kitchen utensils (though no pantry items). It's a small, quiet complex, so there was never an issue with the pool or the tennis courts being crowded, and the neighbors were friendly. Our favorite spot was the balcony, where we could enjoy the ocean when we wanted to stay in the shade. Royal Shell made everything very easy, and was there to help us in 10 minutes when we got locked out. Our only caveat would be that this section of Middle Gulf Drive is several miles from anything on Periwinkle or the wildlife refuge. We ended up being more car dependent than we'd expected.
