With a king bed in the master bedroom, a king in the guest bedroom, and two queen beds in the additional guest bedroom, this condo sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably. Beach Access Locations:
One at the end of San Roy Rd and the other at Walton Dunes Access. Beach service is available at Walton Dunes Access. We do not recommend using the beach access by building 6 due to the security guard posted by Sugar Dunes and the private homes. Guests should be made aware that this access is intended solely for reaching the Gulf. To set up on the beach, they will need to walk west past the private homes or east past Sugar Dunes.

There is a beach trolley that runs from Spring Break to Sept 15th, every 10-15 minutes throughout the day from 9-4 pm. Walton Dunes Public Beach Access is the only access that offers beach chair service.


AREA ATTRACTIONS:  

Seaside is a  short drive away and is most widely known for being featured in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Its incredible architecture has helped to make it famous but also its faithful replication of the kind of seaside town that used to be common up and down the coast. Seaside has its own Farmer's Market, post office, Repertory Theater and neighborhood school. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine and the incredible architecture that makes Seaside famous, there are activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, tennis -- you'll find it all right here. 

The Big Chill offers something for folks of all ages and tastes, from tacos and tequila, to wings, burgers and shakes, a stop here is quick, tasty and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn.  

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

    I’ll start by saying we’ve never been to Santa Rosa Beach. We were unaware of how far it was to Destin/PCB. Felt a little duped by the listing saying how close it was to the beach. Yes, access was close, but what it did not disclose is that the “close” access point takes you to Private Beaches which you are not allowed on. They provide shuttle services to public beaches but they weren’t running every 10 minutes as stated. Had to rent a car last minute after finding out an Uber would be $150 each way to and from the unit. (Destin VPS). And an hour long each way. When I called RealJoy about parking - they diverted us to a storage facility who was going to charge us $75. However, onsite management was very accommodating about an extra pass for that vehicle. They also were not specific about the unit being on the 3rd floor (33 steps total). Not a big deal-except I need a knee replacement & it was a chore. Also, Realjoy notified us that the pool would be closed 2 days of our vacation mid week. They said it was for maintenance. But we stopped by the pool & NO maintenance was going on. Overall 8/10. Comfortable for 8 people. Clean. Deck was large (no view).

    The condo was great for our party of 4! We wanted a comfy space to enjoy our time together. It was nicely decorated, not overdone. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had good basic amenities. The property offers shuttle service to/from the public beach if you are taking lots of stuff for a longer beach day. The walk from the hotel past the private beaches to the public isn't very far if you have a light load. I do recommend using a beach chair service to save on schlepping chairs & umbrellas to the beach. Feedback for the property managers is giving better instructions on opening the door lock, as it can be tricky if you don't know how to use that type of lock.

    We enjoyed the property! The decor of our unit was very nice. It had all that we needed from kitchen items to towels. We got good use of pool and tennis courts! The beach trolley was awesome to have. The beach is walking distance but they are very strict about use of the private beach areas. So we used the trolley a bunch to get to the public beach areas. Overall location was good. It was far from the congestion so we didn’t have all the crazy SpringBreak traffic of cars and people but this meant you had to drive to stores, shopping and restaurants.

    Love the apartment. I only gave it a 4 star because of the in inconvenient beach access and lack of beach chair rentals which I’ve used every summer that we go to 30A. I emailed the office multiple times and I was told that there are beach chair rentals that can set up but it’s not true. Guests are supposed to use the Eastern Lake Beach access which is about 300 meters and while golf cart is available, I find it inconvenient. There is long stretch of private beach infront of the property, so nearby beach is not accessible but you’re allowed to set up chairs on the waterline. it rained a lot during our stay so we had to go back and forth to the beach multiple times in a day carrying our backpack chairs, umbrella and stuff walking mostly; only had one chance to use the golf car. Overall, we had a good time but will choose a different area next time with better beach access.

    This was our very first to Florida’s 30A and we loved it. This unit was the perfect place to stay. It was steps away from the beach. The unit was spacious and comfortable. And, a short bike ride away across the highway is the Beachy Bean Coffe Co and the Beer Garden. It’s the place with all the patio lights. Another recommendation is that you rent bikes from the Yellowfin Company nearby. They will deliver the bikes and pick them up when you leave. My only gripe for the rental was that the internet was slow in this unit. Either it needs troubleshooting or an upgrade. Other than that, we would definitely rent from here again!

    My two girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have three separate bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. There were more supplies and kitchenware than we expected, which was a nice surprise! So close to the beach, with a quick walk to 30A restaurants and shops. We had one issue with a toilet leaking but received a quick response via text when we reported it. Overall, a great experience!
