Nice 4 night get away in familiar stomping grounds. Extremely dig friendly property enjoyed the late night lighted pathways. Just live this neighborhood and the overall natural beauty of this Magical Mountain Community! Biking, hiking and fishing - pre-ski season there’s plenty to do.
The only real issues we had were that the hallways in the complex smelled like cigarette smoke and the second night we, after being gone all day, came back to our assigned parking space being occupied. We had to park down the street. They were gone by the next morning though. Otherwise the unit was clean and comfortable and our little getaway was great!
This condo was perfect for our family of 4 w/ 2 young kids, and was great our dog could come along too. The unit was exactly as advertised - clean, nicely updated and with all ammenties you would need. The location may be the best part, last building on Meridian Blvd right across the road from eagle. Linda was an amazing host, wouldn't hesitate to book again for our next visit!
We came up for New Year’s and had a great time. The condo is right across the street from the bus stop and Eagle Lodge, making it perfect for skiing or for getting around town. The fireplace and wall heater kept us plenty warm, and the condo was stocked with everything you could need. There was a power outage due to a snowstorm and the hosts checked on us, which was so thoughtful! Our trip was so perfect, we’d definitely love to stay here again!
We loved our stay. The unit was as described in the listing. It was a 1 minute walk from Eagle Lodge with a great view of the mountain. The unit was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Instructions for everything were included in the check in packet and additional copies for specific things (TV, fireplace, etc.) were available in the unit. The kitchen was stocked with all standard kitchen items we needed to make food each day. The fireplace worked great. Wood and two fire starters were provided during our stay. The internet and cable were both great-best I have had in 8 trips to Mammoth. The building was quiet. If we have the opportunity to stay here again in the future we will! We used the free buses to move between the unit, main lodge and the village. The bus pick up for the unit is at Eagle Lodge which made it very easy. 10/10 in all aspects.
Having vacationed in Mammoth, CA, many many times over the past sixty years I have become more critical of the places I stay and what they have to offer. I would have to give this bit of paradise five stars. The property is absolutely perfect for a couple desiring an intimate getaway. It is a very spacious one bedroom unit, with the addition of a set of bunk beds if you are bringing the children along. The living room is light and airy due to a large front window and a sliding glass door leading to the cozy deck. The condo is extremely well taken care of, and everything is ready for use…instructions for every amenity are clear and concise (this includes a charming little fireplace with plenty of wood). The kitchen area is laid out perfectly, and as I did the cooking I found it very convenient. The facility also boasts a swimming pool and convenient on premise laundry room. The one last thing that makes it perfect for winter enthusiasts is that the chair lifts are not more than one quarter of a mile away (you can see them from the front). As I said, a little bit of Heaven. We are definitely looking forward to staying here again next summer. The hosts are very gracious and obviously take great pride in their lovely unit.
We enjoyed a wonderful 2+ week stay. The rental was very well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the fireplace on a cool night after a day of exploring. Though not waking distance to shopping or restaurants, the location is very close and convenient. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m Mammoth Lakes.
The condo is a corner unit with a large picture window and is very quiet - both of which made it feel more like a house once indoors. Love this location - you can just walk across street to Juniper Springs Lodge to get a coffee if you don't want to brew your own or take a longer walk down Meridian to a local coffee shop across from Von's Grocery. One can take quite enjoyable walks into the neighborhood and capture great Mammoth views/photos. All in all, a choice location and comfortable digs.
Definitely a 10+ property. Very clean and stocked with anything you might need. Bed & linens were super comfy. Didn't get to use the fireplace as we visited in August, but can only imagine how cozy it would be during the winter. Great place to just relax and get away from it all. Linda was very responsive to our questions. Can't wait to come back!
Overall, we were pleased with the condo. It was clean and had almost everything you need, except a washer/dryer. In my more than 30 trips to Mammoth, I have never stayed in a condo that did not have a washer/dryer in the unit. We packed lightly with hopes of using the washer/dryer and it was my fault for not looking for that on the listing. Pillows on the bed are pancakes and we forgot ours at home (again our fault). I would stay in the unit again and bring more clothing, now that I know there is no washer/dryer.
