THINGS TO KNOW


  • This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.
  • Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, ants, spiders, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.

    vacation here. While enjoying your time, we would like to remind you of some

    important community expectations and rules for guests staying in our

    neighborhoods outside of the Tourist Core. We believe that you, your family, and

    friends can have an amazing vacation while still being respectful and

    considerate to the neighbors around you.



    City of South Lake Tahoe Short Term Rental Ordinances



    a. The maximum occupancy of this property at all times, 24 hours a day,

    is 6 persons. Up to 4 children aged 13 and under do not count

    towards this occupancy limit.

    b. Weddings, receptions, and commercial events are prohibited.

    c. No use of outdoor spas or hot tubs is allowed after 10pm or before

    8am.

    d. No outdoor amplified music, speakers, or other noise-generating

    equipment is allowed after 10pm or before 8am.

    e. Parking is prohibited on unpaved surfaces or on neighboring private

    property without permission. Parking is allowed only on paved

    Surfaces. Only 2 vehicles allowed.

    f. Parking of commercial vehicles on the property is prohibited, except

    temporarily for durations of less than 4 hours.

    g. Camping and sleeping in tents, travel trailers, campers, or

    recreational vehicles is prohibited at the property.

    h. Trash and recycling shall not be left or stored outside except in a

    container (trash can) within a bear box or in an animal-resistant cart

    provided for use by South Tahoe Refuse.

    i. ☐ Bear box: All trash shall be stored in the dumpster located at the property located in the parking lot. ☐ No bear box: Trash and recycling shall

    not be brought out to the curb before 6:00am on trash day, and shall

    be removed from the curb no later than 6:00pm on trash day.



    Violations of any of these conditions of operation are subject to

    citations and fines starting at $1,500 per violation may be issued to both occupant

    and to the property owner.
