Tropical Winds 601 3 bd 3bth gulf-front coastal decor

We absolutely loved this condo and the location. Plenty of room in the condo. The 3rd bathroom was priceless so everyone could get ready at the same time. Separate ice maker didn't work but ice maker in freezer did and that was enough for us. Very pleased and will be coming back next year to this same condo if it all works out to do so! Everyone staying at the tropical winds were nice and the designated beach area for us was not overcrowded like other locations. Just perfect!

needs basic repairs like 2 out of 3 tubs would not hold water for a bath. I unclogged 1 bath sink, the outside electrical outlet was not secure to the wall. Trash shoot door needed cleaning real bad & the ground floor elevatorentrance needed painting and cleaning.

Good location and had a very nice view of the beach. Elevator was a little scary and needs to be looked at. Some updates and a deep cleaning should be done. Overall not bad and served it purpose.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time on our recent trip to Gulf Shores and this condo was a big part of that. Located right on the beach with a perfect view of the Gulf, the condo was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Only comments I would make are nit picky but I will make them in case stuff like this matters for your beach trip. The deck was a bit small, especially for a corner unit, the workout room was sparse (and that's being nice) and the pool was very small but for kids, did the job just fine. Other than those small things, the condo was exactly what we needed with a great location. I would definitely stay here again whenever I am in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area.

This condo was perfect for our family vacation! We have the added need of two pack and plays for our twins and there was zero issue having a place for them within the condo! The place was clean, convenient and had a good response time for questions.

Walk to the beach was short. Place was just as pictured.

Everything, from floors to morrors, to clothing is damp during the entire stay despite having all doors and windows secured.

The location was perfect - close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The condo had a beautiful view and was easy to access. Couple minor issues: ice maker did not work, loud and slow washer and dryer, WiFi needed to be fixed but was quick to fix the issue. Overall, it was a great week with no major issues.

The beds that we were sleeping on was a very uncomfortable, also we had to use these turnout sofa, it too, was very uncomfortable. The location was great. The beach was great.

Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival the outside looked run down and in terrible need of a refresh. The inside of the condo was just ok. Any worse and I would have run. Luckily we travel with bathroom cleaner so we stayed. The ice maker never worked and we called 3 times. Finally the service man decided to blame us for it not working. Other than opening to see if we had ice our group touched nothing. We tried ordering rental chairs for the beach and were told Tropical Winds does not allow rentals on their property. Don’t plan on renting. We had to go purchase chairs. The unit advertised currently renovated or refreshed and the couch was at least 20 years old. AC works but was very loud, washing machine works but was so loud you could not run and watch TV in the living area at the same time. Lots of molding spots on the ceiling and just a dirty place. We will NEVER stay there again. Dog poop in the elevator on 2 different occasions. Don’t mind your dog but please clean up. Smokers at the pool and on various balconies. I have asthma with a smokers trigger so that was concerning.
