Tropical Retreat with a View

The kitchen was very well stocked. There are no beach or pool towels which seemed a little strange. The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfortable

Very convenient location, clean and easy check-in. I will be back.

Another relaxing time at Anglers Cove. Great escape from the Northern Winter!

The location was fantastic! Within about 100 yards of the unit, you’ll find a restaurant/bar, two pools, tennis courts, and fishing spots. Additionally, there’s a marina right next door where you can book fishing trips, rent boats, or try out waverunners. There’s so much to do!The booking process was seamless, the unit was spotless, and the view from the sun porch overlooking the marina was consistently stunning. The hosts were wonderful, and we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it by a few extra days.

Second time staying here. We love the view of the bay. Perfect size condo for us.

July 4th: After numerous bites, we stripped and pulled the bed apart (removing comforter, sheets, and mattress cover to inspect). There were bugs scurrying everywhere. We then sent a text to the owner requesting that he stopped by to address a problem in the unit. Mr. Landwaard wanted to know the problem. Mr. Landwaard saw the bugs and said, “Oh, I’ve never had this problem before.” He then proceeded to unlock what he called his “Owner’s Closet” and pulled out a bottle of Bed Bug Spray of which we later noticed was half empty. How convenient! He sprayed one or two bugs and turned to say, “Well, there are no exterminators working today (July 4). I am going to leave this with you to use on the bugs. You will just have to sleep on the couch. Okay, I must go hand out flags for the VFW.” He promptly left, never attempting to make any calls. Mr. Landwaard never once called/texted to check on us and the status of his bug situation. After enduring yet another painful night - sleeping at the kitchen table, we had no other alternative but to leave the property. Our holiday was ruined. By this time, we were very tensed, jumpy, and sleep deprived. We had no other choice but to check out early, losing several hundreds in groceries that we had to toss. I have a full details from day 1 of the encounter however due to the limitation of characters, this is my summary. Pictures are available should they be needed.

The place was as described. It was quiet and we had a choice of two pools that were very close to our unit. The owner was easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions. The only negative thing was the cleanliness of the floors. We had to wear flip flops or our feet would get black. It looked clean and maybe it was something else but we had to wear shoes inside. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. We would go there again for sure. Marco Island is beautiful. We went to Tiger tail beach almost everyday and brought home over 35 sand dollars! The shells were great!

This is the second time we stayed at Rudy’s condo. Even though it was abnormally hot out we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location is very close to restaurants and shops. Rudy and Dorthery are excellent hosts. We will stay there again on our next trip to Marco Island.
