• Ski On/Off: This home is located on the Great Eastern ski trail and offers ski on/off access when the trail is open. Early/late season trail conditions are weather-dependent, and neither the host nor property manager is responsible for these conditions. Reservations cannot be canceled due to weather or lack of snow. For up-to-date trail information, visit the Killington Resort website before booking. Your dates may fall under early/late season rates.
• Private Shuttle Services: In partnership with Ski On Ski Off Killington, we provide private shuttle services to the ski lifts and town for an additional fee. Contact us for details.
• Rental Agreement: Guests must e-sign and return our written rental agreement.
• Hot Tub: The hot tub is included for peak ski season weekends (late December to mid-March). For all other periods, there is an optional $195 setup fee. You understand that use of the hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the hot tub, and hold owner and property manager harmless.
• Guest Occupancy: Do not exceed the agreed guest occupancy. Over-occupancy will result in immediate eviction and fines.
• Minimum Rental Age: Guests must be 25 years or older to rent this property.
• Shoes: Please do not wear shoes inside the house.
• Check-In/Out: Smart lock door codes will be provided for contactless check-in and check-out. While we offer some flexibility with check-in and check-out times depending on other bookings, guaranteed early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional fee.
• Smoking Policy: The entire home is non-smoking, including e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted outdoors. A $750 fine will be charged for smoking inside the house.
• Cameras: For safety and security, there are exterior cameras on the property capable of recording at all times. There are no cameras in any living areas.
• Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. The property may use Minut, a smart home device that monitors noise levels to address disturbances without disrupting your stay. Minut is 100% privacy compliant and required for this property. Please reach out if you have questions.
• Fireworks: Fireworks are not permitted at this property.
• Parties/Events: Parties and events are not allowed.
• Pets: This property is pet friendly with the payment of our non-refundable pet fee per dog.
• Winter Weather: Winter weather can be unpredictable. We do not offer refunds due to weather or ski trail conditions and recommend purchasing travel insurance for unforeseen events. All-wheel drive and winter tires are strongly recommended.
• Limitation of Liability: The owner and their rental agent shall not be held liable for any injuries or damages to the tenant, the tenant's family, or guests that occur during the tenant's occupancy of the property. The Tenant agrees to indemnify and hold the property manager and their representatives harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, or legal actions arising from the Tenant's use or occupancy of the premises.

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All was pretty good. The plastic bed protectors were fairly uncomfortable though.

    We had a great stay at this three bedroom condo! Betsie, who handled administrative details for our rental, was very easy to deal with and she responded very quickly to emails and texts. The condo is large and our family of 5 never felt crowded. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and the big-screen tvs were enjoyed in the evenings. The open air hottub out on the deck was used daily after skiing, as was the wood burning fireplace. We didn’t get to experience a snowstorm while basking in the hottub - maybe next year! Oh, and being able to walk maybe 75 feet to the Great Eastern trail to clip in/.out of skis is pretty awesome. We did drive our first day though to both Snowshed and to K1, as we had to get rentals and do a drop off, and both places were maybe 6-7 minutes’ drive from the condo and weren’t particularly crowded, plus there were MANY open parking spaces in both locations. The condo’s kitchen had all the pots and pans and cookie sheets, plus oil, salt, pepper, and spices that we needed. We ate breakfast and dinner there every day. The large dining room table easily fit us too. We liked how every room and bathroom had its own thermostat. If you can, get up at least one morning before dawn to see the sunrise over the mountains - the views, especially from the condo’s top floor, are gorgeous.

    The property is ski in ski off. It is very well appointed. We cooked every night and had everything we needed. The bunk bed matresses are very hard but otherwise everything was very comfortable.

    Our family stayed for a 4 day weekend. Prior to check in communication was prompt and clear. The property was clean, well equipped and best of all it really was a ski in and out! This was wonderful because we have all levels of skiers so people could come and go as they wanted. Joy!

    The location of this condo, a short walk from the Great Eastern trail, makes it a perfect spot for a family-friendly trip. The interior and exterior of the units are under renovation, so what we found upon checkin was significantly nicer than what we expected from viewing the photos. We had a question about the hot tub which was answered promptly by our host, and we loved being on the deck under the stars enjoying that feature. The view from the windows in the kitchen and master bedroom is a treat, especially at sunrise. I hope we can come back someday.

    We had 2 families stay at this property and there was more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked and the property was very clean. There was plenty of firewood, fire starters, hot water, spices, etc. You can see that the property is mid-updating, which will only make the property better when it is completed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just got back from our annual trip. This is our 2nd time staying in Trailside Village #8, the first time was 6 years ago. You can't beat the location and the unit itself has a nice layout. SkiOnSkiOff is great to work with too. The unit does need some updating. Nothing has been changed or updated since we stayed there 6 years ago, including the broken garbage can lid. The kitchen floor has a lot of stains and nicks in it and needs updating too. There was also an annoying sound coming from somewhere in the kitchen that happened throughout the day. There was also no step to get into the hot tub, thankfully we had brought our food in a big cooler and used that, but it would have been hard to get in and out without that. The door going out to the deck where the hot tub was would get stuck, so while we were out there, we had to leave the door open so we didn't get stuck. Also, many of us tripped multiple times on the many rugs they had laid out in the TV room.

The location is one of the main reasons we keep coming back! A few items that Condo/Unit # 8 could improve on are:-Updated kitchen. The cabinets, floors and refrigerator are very old and worn- The beds are hard as rocks-The door knob to the hot tub/porch area sticks Overall, the place is great it just needs a few updates!
