Trailside Village #1: Slopeside 1BR w/ Hot Tub and Sauna. Ski In/Out with Discounted Ski Rentals

We had an amazing stay at this Vrbo in Killington, Vermont! The ski-in/ski-out location right next to the trail was absolutely perfect and made skiing with our family of four incredibly easy and enjoyable. The place was spotless, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the wood-burning fireplace—it made the evenings cozy and memorable after long days on the slopes. The outdoor jacuzzi was the highlight for us, the perfect spot to relax and unwind after skiing. Overall, an ideal place for a family ski trip, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The property is dated, compared to other units in the complex.

Overall we had a nice stay. Location is perfect on the Great Eastern ski trail and discounted lift tickets a plus. Appreciate that it's dog friendly. Hot tub and sauna were awesome. Wood burning stove was great. That said, place is a bit dated and finishings definitely on the cheaper side. Formica (not granite) counters were starting to peel. Several burners on the stove wouldn't light without using the lighter from the fireplace. Coffee maker was missing a piece or a bad design and leaked 20% of your coffee on the counter. Burn marks in the carpet. Couches were hard and felt like a doctor's office waiting room, etc. Heat was inconsistent across rooms - we turned down the heat in the living room to 65 but it was too hot in the bedroom to sleep, probably 75 or 80, and so had to open the window. Mind you it was -3F some nights and required constant fiddling to get the temp right, and so I could only get a few hrs sleep at a time before waiting up to adjust. When you're staying at a ski in ski out you're paying for location. And all these things I could live with. But for 700/night all in I guess I was expecting a bit more.

The unit felt gross/grimy, the extra blankets had crust and stains on them, the shower fan was caked in grime and dust, and the shower head barely worked. For $700 a night, it wasn’t even close to our expectations

The condo was exactly what we were looking for with a well stocked kitchen, spacious living room and dining area, and king size bed in the bedroom. The condo was clean (which was very important to us). If you like big TVs, you will be happy...they were huge. The bedroom TV lit up the entire room when it was on. The hot tub on the deck was nice. Maintenance came out daily to check chemicals and make sure everything worked correctly. It was wonderful to be able to walk outside, walk up a short hill (twenty second walk) and ski right down to the gondola. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Our dog was happy too. We were able to walk her down the driveway to a small open area where she could run around and play in the snow. We reached out to management the first day as there was no lighter to light the grill or wood burner, but as soon as we called them, someone came out with a lighter for us. It was nice to have such a quick response. We would absolutely recommend this condo and look forward to booking another trip in the future!

The unit itself was OK - clean, but a bit run down and frayed at the edges. The hot tub felt great after a full day of skiing, though. All in all, a positive experience.
