For the perfect mix of island resort living with all the comforts of home, you’ll love the Elikapeka Suite at Sands of Kahana. Located on the west coast of Maui, you’ll have sandy beach access mere feet from our home, full views of the ocean, the island of Lanai’i, breathtaking sunsets, and the gorgeous West Maui Mountains all from your expansive --nearly 2000 square feet, air-conditioned, beachfront-- 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo suite. All of your needs can be met on the resort, but for those who want to explore all that Maui has to offer, Kaanapali, Kapalua, and downtown Lahaina are all just minutes away.

The Elikapeka Suite is perfect for groups and families of all ages! Our home is a corner unit 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, one-level, open floor plan condo with a large, gracious, fully-stocked kitchen, separate dining and living rooms, featuring two large lanais with direct ocean (from primary & living room) and mountain views (2nd & 3rd bedrooms). The suite is privately owned (not a timeshare) and has been renovated throughout with new stainless steel appliances, full-size washer and dryer for your private use, flatscreen LED televisions, exotic wood flooring in each bedroom, high-speed fans throughout, high thread count, hypo-allergenic bedding and high-end mattresses, modern island furnishings, artwork, and plenty of bath and beach towels for all! For those rare, uncomfortably warm and humid tropical days, our unit is also one of the few of its size at Sands of Kahana to offer controlled central air conditioning.

An ideal place for gathering family and friends, the suite comfortably sleeps up to six guests on two king beds and two queen beds. All bedrooms provide privacy and thick barn or hinged doors.

A few notes on frequently asked questions:
-How close are you to the beach You can see the beach from our living room window & front lanai. We haven't calculated the number of steps down to the ground floor and to the water, but it's not far. There are also many, many other beaches a short walk or drive from our home, so you can find your favorite!

-Discounts: In short, no. Given the quality and size of our unit, the many on-site amenities that are included in your stay, and our competitive pricing relative to other three-bedroom units and hotels in the area, we do not offer additional discounts other than what may be occasionally advertised here.

-Number of guests: The advertised rate is inclusive of six guests. We may allow up to eight guests with an additional surcharge. Please note that the names and ages of all guests, a residential mailing address (no P.O. boxes), phone and email address is legally required by our insurance and the resort for all reservations.

-What building are you in/unit number/floor We will not share this info until your reservation is paid-in-full. This is for security and guest privacy concerns as our calendar and pictures of our home are publicly available.

-Length of stay: Stays of less than seven nights will only be considered where there is an odd 'gap' between other bookings and additional nightly discounts may be available for those stays.

-Are my dates available Check the calendar! :) Depending on other bookings and time of year, we may ask if you have any flexibility in your dates. We recommend booking your accommodations before your flights if you have flexibility.

-Cancellations: Your payments are non-refundable. Plan accordingly & buy travel insurance to protect your costs.

-Cancel-for-any-reason Travel Insurance Recommended: Since group vacations to Maui can be very expensive, we highly recommend looking into trip insurance to protect you against any unexpected life events that may prevent you from honoring your stay. There are independent sites that allow you to compare coverage options or your credit card may offer something if you use it to pay for your stay. We can't afford to insure the costs of your stay which is why we have a non-refundable cancellation policy.

-No jerk policy: We work very hard to ensure our guests have a great experience in our home. Our on-island team will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. We practice aloha and expect the same from our guests. If you're not respectful in the reservation process, we won't trust you with our home.

    Our entire experience with Hawaiian Haven was OUTSTANDING! Every experience from booking the condo to checking out to head back home was truly top notch. The accommodations were exceptional. Every detail, from the interior decor of the condo to the Hawaiian Haven app were done with such intentionality and care - this team really knows how to make your stay extraordinary. Sands of Kahana was also a great location to start your adventures from - you have Kaanapali (shopping, restaurants and Black Rock) just to the south, and Napili just north of you and Captain Jacks is located on the property. Highly recommend Baya Bowls, Olea Coffee and Island Vibes Cafe. For fun and adventure - you have to try Trilogy's Lanai, Molokini and Evening cruises - they take such good care of you! Lastly, we drove our jeep around Haleakala (not for the faint of heart), and coming around the southeast side at sunset was AMAZING! Volcano on our right, ocean on our left and sunset straight ahead - golden hour - I put it up there with seeing Yosemite for the first time. Thank you, Ken & Brooke, for opening your beautiful condo to me and my family so that we might enjoy the beautiful island of Maui from such a beautiful and well-equipped location.      So many things made it special: the perfectly stocked kitchen, the great view of the ocean, the lanai, lovely leis and fresh flowers greeted us, Ryan’s accommodating and personable service (on-island caretaker), and the beautiful, and comfortable decor.  The digital guidebook contained everything we needed to know about our stay there-so helpful!

    Condo had a nice view and the kitchen well stocked. The only problem was the stove. It was extremely hard to work. The directions were there but we never could get it to cook in a timely manner!

    Highly recommend this property! It’s even better than the pictures. We stayed with 8 people and had more than enough room. Clean, updated and fully stocked with everything you need in the room and for the beach. Brooke was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is beautifully maintained and conveniently located near Lahaina and other popular spots.

    I took my family ( two grown sons and their families) to Maui and had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful condo. The place was extremely clean and well appointed. Our kitchen was state of the art and well stocked. Our BR and bathrooms were generous in size. We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our host kept in contact with us throughout the whole process. She really was organized and left us written instructions which made everything easy. We all loved Maui and our accommodations were superb. We will definitely stay here again.

    Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us! The property was very clean and modern. We took advantage of all of the beach gear and the well stocked kitchen! The restaurant at the property was delicious with great service as well. It was nice that there was an additional beach just down the street that we also enjoyed.     Great Condo with 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath. Very Clean. Impressive Kitchen and bathrooms. Nice Deck(s) and View. And everything you need to have a lot of fun, boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels and more. The location of the complex was a bit far, really needed/wanted to drive to good restaurants and shopping. I'd rate the Condo itself a 5 Star but the grounds, pools, beach in front of the complex and other grounds amenities a 3 star at best. Owners were very easy to work with and nothing hidden or bad things came up. Would rent again for large group.
