Stayed May 1, 2022I had the best time while staying on this property. The location has great views. The condo itself could use an upgrade. The bedspread & sheets were very used. The pots and pans are terrible. But again, I spent so much time outside. I suggested to the management company that they needed several repairs.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Merida 1001 is possibly the best rental condo in the Merida complex! Forever wrap-around views of Caxambas Pass, and the 10,000 islands beyond. The 10th floor also provides an excellent vantage point for viewing dolphin and an occasional manatee. The unit is pristine with tasteful furnishings throughout. The only item I would recommend needing attention is the stove and cooking utensils. Fabulous restaurants in Marco Island, but you don’t want to eat out every night. Otherwise, 5 star all the way.

Expensive due to the Canadian dollar tanking, but I feel it's definitely worth it. MIVP is a good outfit to deal with. I have reserved it for next year.

Reviewer Comments: The Merida is a fabulous property with manicured grounds, spotless lobby, and a huge fishing pier. Our corner unit had a fantastic panoramic view of the gulf and 10000 islands. Great to sit on the lanai and watch dolphins and boaters. The unit was spotless and comfortable. Does need some TLC. Mattresses are soft and saggy and linens could be replaced. Loved the complex and unit and will be back!

Reviewer Comments: Southern exposure gives a great view on the thousand islands and shields the wind on the balcony. Had adult guest from home and the space worked very well. Master bedroom bed needs replacing which I am sure will happen. Very nice overall!
