Tidewater Resort 1300 - Beachfront - Gulf Front Pool, Hot Tub, Free Activities

The elevators were a disaster. 45 minute wait if you ever get one. Took the stairs multiple times (with our beach gear) from the 13th floor b/c the elevator never came. Felt trapped!!

The condo was ok. However there are several things that need to be improved. The bed in the master bedroom is old and needs to be replaced. The bathtub and shower liner were filthy. The bed in the 2nd bedroom was listed as a queen. It is a double. The construction on the street does not set a good 1st impression. Building is older and needs some updates/repairs. The elevators are horrible. We often waited 30 min for an elevator. The beach and beach service were fantastic. We would not stay at this property again.

The elevators in the parking garage and condominium were terrible. Wait times for the elevators sometimes reached over 30 minutes. 4 elevators have been down since January according to some of the owners. We saw numerous cockroaches in the building but none in our room. The blinds over our balcony door were broken and stayed halfway down so the condo never got cool. Maintenance was called 2 times and we were told there was nothing they could do. One of the pools along with the outdoor bar was closed the first 2 days. The master bed has a very poor quality mattress. My wife and I didn’t sleep well the entire stay so we left a day early. We stayed in another condo in the same resort last year and had a wonderful stay. We do not know what has happened in a years time.

Horrible expierience. Took over an hour to get elevator to our floor. Once at room the toilet was broke and running they told us it would be next day before rhey could fix it. We left didnt even stay overnight. Took us over 45 minutes to get dlevator back down. All guests were complaining of elevators. Had 4 broke down and when said something they told me they had no knowledge of any elevator problems. Then parking deck had broke elevator and it took over 20 minute for that elevator to work. Tried getting refund and they wont give anything back or help in any way. Would never stay or recommend this place to anyone. Family said it took them one hour to get from ground level up to room eaxh day from beach.

Tidewater Resort, the bldg the room was located in was dirty,smelled of pot, had no working elevators for 2 days. Hard Pass on this!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The pictures match reality - the view is gorgeous and the space is nicely furnished. Our favorite part was the balcony - we spent every evening out there taking in the view. While we have only good things to say about the condo itself, the resort is just ok. The beach and pool were fine, but they have all these rules that they don't enforce (like no throwing balls in the pool). If we had been a party of only adults, we wouldn't have cared, but because we had a small toddler with us, we would have appreciated some rule enforcement to keep things safe for him. Also, be aware that it can take 20-30mins to get an elevator during busy times (which felt like all the time). Guests were bonding over how many times they took the stairs because it was such a regular occurrence. This unit is on the 13th floor and with a small toddler in tow, that wasn't ideal. Elevator wait times aren't a reason not to stay here, but it did change our experience and it's something to keep in mind.

I didnt like that we had to give my license to use a shopping cart or luggage buggy. Then we waited 30 minutes for an elevator because one of the elevators kept breaking down. The condo we stayed was really nice. But i wont be staying here again.
