This Luxury 2200sf ocean front Amara condo is located in Ixtapa, Mexico, steps from the beach with a spectacular view of the ocean and amazing sunsets.

The unit includes an open kitchen and living room concept with full size glass patio doors that open to your beautiful balcony with stunning views! The large balcony overlooks two infinity pools and the wading pool below. 

With two master bedrooms, each with views over the beach below, you will be able to relax in luxury. Both master bedrooms include a separate ensuite, king beds and there is a flat screen TV in one of the bedrooms.

The three mountain-view rooms include double beds in two of the rooms and twin singles in the third allowing for maximum occupancy which is ideal for large families or a group of couples. the unit includes a fully equipped laundry room, and there is a full fitness facility on the grounds.

The private Amara pools provide everything you need at this ocean paradise. Swim, soak, or relax under the palapa/cabana while Amara staff provide you with your favourite beverages and snacks. Enjoy endless walks along the beach and return to luxury through your private beach entrance with attached shower and washroom facilities

We really hope that you enjoy your stay in our families condo in the Amara. Our 1102C condo has been a terrific opportunity for our family to share some amazing memories and to create some great relationships with our neighbours, our guests as well as some of the local business owners and their families. They're some of the nicest people that we've had the opportunity to meet!

Please be considerate and turn off the air conditioning and the lights when you're not in the unit. Keep in mind that this is a non smoking unit and pets are not allowed.

Please be considerate of the Amara rules...no rough housing in the pool and drinks can only be consumed in one corner of the adult pool. You can enjoy drinks on the lounge chairs in both the adult and family pool. When the pool is busy kindly do your best to limit your use of the lounge chairs to two. Please remember that this is not a hotel. It is a condominium and families do live here.

Drinks, snacks and even breakfast can be had at the palapa. Put them on your room tab and just be sure to settle up with administration before you leave. Sergio and Carlos will be sure to take care of you. Last call varies between 6pm and 7pm.

Cabs can be picked up throughout Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. You can also coordinate with Mario (cab 400 - Mario_taxi_400@hotmail.com). He'll take care of you.

If you need groceries pop into La Comercial (similar to Superstore). If you're staying longer they've also got a Sam's Club (similar to Costco) but you'll need a membership.

If need be you can get medical attention (for minor issues) next door at La Krystal. Administration can call over and the doctor will drop by the unit to meet with you. There is a charge of approximately $70U.S. (price may vary) but the doctor can write a prescription if required. With four kids we've had to use their services a few times and it is reassuring to know they're close by.

Restaurants

The General's is a great sports bar across the street from the condo. Catch Soccer (football), MLB, NHL, NFL, CFL or anything else you'd like to watch. Be sure to ask for Genero.

Casa Morelos...seafood casserole and the Mexican coffees are fantastic.

Chilli Beans is great for an easy bite to eat.

Emilio's for great salads, pizza and ribs

Rueben's is a great burger joint directly across the street.

Il Mare (Italian on the hill) above La Ropa beach. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset during dinner above Zi.

Banditos is a must visit in Zihuatanejo. Great food, great margarita's and it's located across from the market where you can buy lots of souvenirs.

Activities

Rent wave runners and coordinate para sailing right in front of the condo. Ask for Jorge (Horhay). He and his boys will take care of you!

Rent bikes across the street by Rueben's. Rent them for 3hrs and take a great ride on a beautiful bike path to Playa Linda...nice long beach, nature reserve with crocs and iguana's and cerveza's to quench your thirst.

Coordinate snorkelling at Ixtapa Island either at the end of a fishing trip or on its own. You can also go deep sea fishing and look for mahi-mahi, tuna or sailfish. We've caught them all on various trips. You can coordinate with Big Ben...don't worry. He'll find you when you're hanging over the edge of the pool!

You can also swim with dolphins. It's a 10 minute walk from the condo. Head to Delfiniti Ixtapa for a great experience with the kids. Book in advance (even the same day) for a 20% discount.

Additional activities include zip lining, horseback riding or surfing. We haven't done these trips yet but we know lots of people that have!

We'll be sure to do whatever we can to assist you in making your visit more memorable!

Most of all enjoy and experience all that Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo have to share!
