Groovin' at the Grove, unit 611 at Beachside Villas, is THE UNIT closest to the beach. WE DO NOT RENT TO ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 25.

Complete $6 million dollar renovation of the exterior of our complex is now complete and looks fantastic. Also with the exterior of the complex our unit got new doors and windows, including patio doors. Our tennis courts were recently refinished and are now tennis/pickleball courts. Equipment to play is usually available in the office but bring your own to be sure not to miss out on playing.
Offering a wonderful view of the Gulf from our living room/patio, this 2 Bedroom Condo is the larger of the 2 bedroom units at BSV. This is a ground floor level unit so there are no steps to climb. Parking is available right by the building for easy loading and unloading. Complementary WiFi is available so bring your laptops.
Our first floor unit has a master suite and full bath. The second bedroom has two full beds, full bath across the hall, plus there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There are three Smart TV's in the unit plus DVD player. A fully functional kitchen with everything you will need is provided with wonderful stainless steel appliances. A small wine cooler is also provided. All the beds have wonderful linens and our towels are top notch, too! Our unit is Non-Smoking. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED!
The amenities of the complex includes two outdoor pools (one heated for winter use), 2 lighted tennis courts/pickle ball, shuffleboard, corn hole game, outdoor grills, party deck on adjoining lake, wash-off showers, and access to the most beautiful beach in the world!
When you are ready to hit the beach, head down to your beach access right at the end of San Roy Road. For your convenience, the complex offers complimentary beach cart rides to and from the beach access. If you prefer to walk, it's only about a 5 minute walk to the beach.
If you enjoy biking, bring your bikes or rent one nearby so you can enjoy the Timpoochee Trail, a 19-mile long, paved path running the length of Scenic Highway 30A. The area is home to a number of award-winning golfing courses, including Camp Creek, Shark’s Tooth, Origins, Santa Rosa Beach Golf and Beach Club, Kelly Plantation, Camp Creek and Windswept Dunes.
Take in an afternoon of shopping at the spectacular Pier Park, a mega-outdoor shopping mall with more than a million square feet of specialty shops, restaurants and a movie theater in Panama City, just 15 miles east on Highway 98. The new Panama City International Airport is approximately 40 minutes away. To the west is Destin, where you will find the outlets at the Silver Sands Factory Stores. Deep sea charter fishing is available in Panama City and Destin. Great bars and award-winning restaurants are available within driving distance of Beachside Villas Unit 611, including 30A and Fish Out of Water.
Many of our guests are repeat guests and many stay multiple weeks and make their reservation at least a year in advance.
While the owners live out of town, they do have a local representative who can assist you with any maintenance issues that might arise. We are very hands on and make several trips a year to the unit to make sure everything is as it should be for our guests enjoyment.
All rates and/or descriptions are subject to change. Although every precaution is taken, errors do occur. We strive to keep our unit affordable so that everyone can enjoy the beach!
The condo is much better in person. The pictures don't do it justice. Great stay with elderly parents to be able to walk right out the door.
Carol was very easy to communicate with. We had the best trip. Her condo is perfect! Looking forward to returning in the future!
Let me start by saying we were the envy of many at BSV, regarding condo location. We would sit on the porch with our coffee and people watch, while we would get onlookers waving and shouting we had the best views! The condo was well stocked and comfy. The weather was rough but we made the best of our time. Near the end of our stay the weather cleared up and I reached out to Carol to extend our stay but other lucky visitors were expected. Carol didn’t hesitate to help us in finding another place. I appreciated her quick response and willingness to help, especially when she didn’t have to. We are already making plans to return. Carol's condo was even better than pictured! It was nice to be on the bottom floor and a VERY short walk to public beach access! Carol was super easy to communicate with and responded promptly to any questions that I had. The condo was clean and decorated nicely. We would definitely stay here again!
First let me say this area in Seagrove is wonderful; however in recent years the zoning has changed and ability to set up chairs on the beach is very limited. While the owners generously include a paid set of chairs and umbrella down the beach, it is not convenient and quite a walk from the condo. However the view from the condo is excellent and boardwalk to walk to the beach super easy and convenient. The owner is very responsive and I felt she really cared about trying to make our vacation perfect. We did have some issues with internet working but it was an issue for the complex not just our unit and Carol assisted us with notifying the provider right away. I wish all owners were as easy to work with as Carol.
Location is everything for us. This room has the best location at Beachside Villas! Step out of your room and you're practically on the beach. The condo has plenty of room for a family or 4-6. Nice appliances and furniture as well. The downside to beachside Villas is that over the past several years new homes have been built between the condos and the beach we normally use. Because of this, that beach area is now private property. The only way to use that beach is to rent chairs and umbrellas from the beach chair rental company. We didn't know this until after booking. The owners of the beachside Villas condos now have it set up for golf carts to transport you back and forth to the leased beach next to where eastern lake dumps into the gulf. The water on the beach stays dark and nasty and the golf cart drivers ARE NOT reliable. We saw several golf carts parked in the parking lots but only one or two being used as shuttles. Having said that there is about a 50' wide stretch of open beach directly in front of this unit. Every morning at 7 am someone in our large group would hit the beach and claim our spot. If you don't do this, prepare to make the trek down the beach to the leased spot. We had a total of 25 in our group and we luckily were all able to get room in building 6. The unit is perfect other than the beach situation. If we continue to use Beachside Villas I'll definitely use this unit. I would've rated it 5 stars had it not been for the beach situation.
We had the best time while staying at this property. Very easy walk to the beach. Very clean and nice unit. We have 2 children 4 & 7 and this was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Carol had great communication. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks!!!
Great location, beautiful beach. Short walk to chairs and umbrella the owners provide, which was very nice. Master bed was comfortable. We rented bikes for the week - great place to ride bikes. Floor in condo was dirty. Didn't realize it until our feet were black the first night. Otherwise, housekeeping was fine.
